This stuff is addictive for me. I think it's intended mostly as a drink mixer, and if that's your bag, go for it. I drink it straight from the can and have to ration it because otherwise I'd get about 30 times the safe level of daily salt intake.

If it weren't for the high sodium content I would drink at least a case of this stuff per month. The flavor rocks, and I always feel good getting my daily dose of veggies for a change. I usually try to keep this stuff on hand during the winter months and drink a can a day to keep the doctor bills away. So far so good on that note. I am addicted to this stuff. I would beer bong it if it didn’t have so much sodium content. I also purchase the low sodium regular (non spicy), while I enjoy those, it’s just not the same thing. I wonder if there is low sodium spicy? I was turned on to this on an airplane. The passenger next to me ordered spicy tomato V8 and I was like, hmmm, I’ll have one too! So tasty! ... show more

    • Big price increase, and really poor delivery
I have done subscribe and save for several months. The product itself is great, I love it. The delivery (which is really the only reason to order from Amazon) is terrible. At first it was good, when delivered by Amazon directly. But since they have switched to USPS, the cans are smashed with 2 leaking. I guess they cant handle the weight or something. 7 purchases, 4 good, now 3 bad.. the delivery was easier, but cheaper and not smashed if you go to the store yourself. ... show more

I am really a picky eater/drinker. I do NOT like tomatoes, but for some reason I love the taste of the Spicy V8 (only the spicy). I drink it almost every day between breakfast and lunch. I am not a vegetable person so this helps fill the gap with the lack of veggies in my diet. When I make vegetable stew with potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery I put a can or two in it and it makes it amazing. The price really fluctuates on this stuff so buyer beware. Opened one 6 pack drank 4 opened another and it was sealed seemed like the rest and was bad like made my husband vomit just from one sip. This is ridiculous. The date on the can is fine it was pressurized but was very very bad. Seems there are some quality control issues and now we are afraid of the other cases as they may be bad also. ... show more

I wanted to drink something else besides soda and I found this package. It has a definite tomato taste. It has a lot of salt. V8 spicy has always been a favorite but at close to $1 a 10. Oz van gets kinda expensive. When substituting a can or 2 for breakfast and or lunch. A case of 24 doesnt last very long.
