The Ethernet port over USB has proven very useful for me. HOWEVER it takes a couple minutes to connect -- watch for its green & blinking orange lights -- after the computer's power-on. (Mine's running Windows 11 Pro.) Be patient if you think it doesn't work at all! It does connect quickly after a restart. (Same behavior even after updating the Network adapter driver to a 4/20/2023 version from Realtek.) The other ports seem to work well.

Really like this. Very useful. I have way to many things to plug in. And this helps a lot. Love how small it is. And that you can individually turn off each usb plug. The lights are nice too.

This splitter is a great thing to have however it has a bit of issues with powering devices as well as transferring. I plugged this into my USB port on the back of my computer and it it worked pretty well for only three devices. I tried plugging in two ipads and a thumb drive just to see if I can sync the device and transfer filed. Unfortunately it was not able to stay connected to all three device at the same time. It kept disconnecting. My assumption is there is not enough power being put through the splitter. I tried it with a wall plug as well and the charge is a bit slow if the charger is not QI or fast charging. I tried it out and was able to charge a few tablets but again it is not the faster through this device. You are not going to get fast charging but it will be able to charge several different items through this. The thing that is nice about this is that your can shut off USB ports to conserve power. There is a port on the hub for power plug however the cable does not come with the device. It does get pretty warm when using this device. The cable itself it not very long and is integrated into the splitter so you cannot replace it if you happen to break the cable. The switches are pretty sturdy and small and the device itself is very light. Overall this device does the job. It is able to charge multiple device given you have the right wall plug. The switches are nice to shut off ports when you do not need it. Another issue is that this is not going to be transfer at 3.0 speeds and it may not have enough power to power multiple devices on the computer usb port. You also do not get fast charging through the device, but basic charging. It does a decent job charging over night. The blue lighting is pretty bright which can be annoying but at least you know what is on or off.

I needed a hub with more than 3 or 4 ports that didn't cost a small fortune, which for whatever reason seems to be a difficult find these days. These hub works okay. I like the look of it and the fact that I can turn individual ports on/off as I please. The only issue I've been having is that it seems to randomly connect/disconnect while plugged into my laptop. I can't say with certainty that this isn't an issue with the port on my laptop and not the connection from the hub, though. All I know is that this is definitely a functional and affordable option for anyone that just needs extra ports. I have a lot of USB drives that I store files on due to my laptop's low internal storage space and this hub works great for my needs.
