  • Powerful Switch in a Small Package
This little switch is amazing. The etherlighting works great, and the switch feature set is nice for the price. The main issue will be the size. It will not fit in the "tool-less" Ubiquiti rack. I added the 19-inch rack adapter kit and was able to mount it in a standard rack

  • Ubiquiti - Need I say more?
It's another great product from Ubiquiti. Switch works perfectly and integrated right into my Unifi network. Easy to set up, great throughput. If you're building a rack, this is not rack mountable without an extra kit. I was able to 3D print a nice bracket that solved that issue but it's good to know. Otherwise, the etherlightifng is kind of gimmicky but looks really cool, so I guess it works! Love the unit. ... show more

  • Great 16 port switch
Great little switch, the 4 2.5 gig ports are a godsend. Poe++ on all ports is great, as are the 2 10gig spf ports. It dees require a specific rack mount to fit into a standard 19" rack, but I was able to 3d print one, and flip it around so it alligns to the left.

  • Powerful little switch!
Ubiquiti is top of the line when it comes to network equipment. Setup and implementation into my home Ubiquiti ecosystem was very easy. I orginally wanted the 24 port POE ubiquiti switch but this guy had better features and power for the same price. Very happy with my decision to go with this model instead. The etherlighting is pretty cool too. Only bummer is that it doesn't come with the mounting kit for a rack. But the switch itself get 5 stars in my opinion. ... show more

  • Good Switch
Works as advertised, you will need a device to run the unifi network off of but if you’re already in the ecosystem it’s a great addition.

  • Costly but worth it if your an IT nut!
Ubiquity says it all. Love the size, lighting and lets face it, its a POE LAYER 3 SWITCH! The only downside was the price, and the fact you need to “buy” accessories for rack mounting. Needless to say, very excited to have it and already deployed in my home.

  • Know issues with this switch and this Unifi distributor
This is a decent product and knock on wood, I've had a good experience with Ubiquity. This item has failed, and I mean it's a $500 paper weight after a little over a year. The return was manned by this vendor, who knowing this switch has certain issues, denied a replacement. So word to the wise, don't buy anything from this vendor, only buy from Ubiquity direct. You will get better customer service. They want your repeat business. Certainly will never use this vendor again on Amazon or elsewhere. Beware. Technical know issue with this switch: USW Pro Max 16 PoE boots to 192.168.1.20 with all RJ45 and SFP ports disabled. Factory reset and recovery reset unsuccessful. Device never enters recovery mode. Suspected firmware/bootloader corruption. The device is bricked. ... show more
