My 5-year-old Wolfgang Puck Signature 2 sided Grill started acting up about 1 month ago and I was looking for a more versatile way of cooking..specfically a device with a barbecue style grille. Not only was the sale price of about $21 ideal, the grill arrived within a few days and instructions were easy to follow..not microscopic! The only unexpected glitch was when I opened the shipping box, 5 little screws fell out. I think that they should have been in plastic and they are "optional" to secure the drip pan underneath. Unlike the Wolfgang Puck Grill which was very difficult to clean because it collected a lot of grease, this device has a removable drip pan and once you add a little water prior to cooking the grease and residue drips into the pan and clean up of both the pan and grill takes minutes with mild dish detergent and sink water. I decided to cook a frozen breakfast burrito for lunch and after microwaving for 2 minutes I cooked it on the grill in less than 5 minutes then little bit then added my homemade pico de gallo and it is restaurant quality. Low smoke level. I recommend the Mueller 2 in 1 Grill for a wonderful, easy option to traditional indoor cooking. Tip: Do not add cooking oil to the surface. Additionally, due to the high temperature, I do not recommend cooking eggs on the grill..they turn brown too quickly.

Since this is a newly released item, I figure I would give a quick review. I just received this today. I like the packaging is mostly cardboard with only a plastic bag around the grill. I wish more packaging minimized plastic like this. Perhaps one day this grill can use no plastic by using a few more cardboard bumpers. Anyway, enough about the packaging. I’ve only used this so far to fry up an egg on the griddle which when just fine. If you put the egg in the middle of the griddle, there’s less chance of the whites going down one of the two slots by the griddle. I could easily prevent it with my spatula. The griddle cooking surface appears to have an even heating surface after letting it warm up for just a few minutes. The fried egg turned out good with no sticking which is to be expected on the good nonstick surface. Clean up was easy. I’m not going to put any of the parts in the dishwasher, though I believe you could without much harm. I would like for it to last for a long time and it was very easy to quickly clean so no real need for the dishwasher anyway. The only two things I would like to see different is one, for the F and C degrees to be printed on the faceplate of the temperature dial. There are only numbers right now and the included booklet has the mapping of the numbers to the temps. Perhaps the manufacturer could make this change fairly easily on a new batch run of these. The other thing would be to have a longer and thus a probably thicker power cable. It’s 26 inches long. It’s a fairly typical length though of these types of small appliances. I’ll update this review after I grill up some hamburgers and veggies in the future.

The media could not be loaded. I love to use this for having friends over and doing a bbq inside. I will say it does produce some smoke and a heavy smell if you do cook meat. It’s great non stick surface and it heats up very quickly and cooks the meat very well! It is a bit tough to clean the underside of the grill though

Item: Mueller Ultra GrillPower 2-in-1 Smokeless Electric Indoor Removable Grill and Griddle Combo Seller: DOCTORS BEST PRODUCTS INC Tl;DR: An easy to clean grill that is neither smokeless nor able to provide even temps across cooking surface. Love the formfactor and ease of cleaning of the grill. The base is also able to remain cool while cooking. Unfortunately it is not smokeless. Tried grilling pork belly, sausages, and burgers. All of them smoked. Tried adding a little water to the grease pan prior - didn't help. Also, temperatures are uneven at the ends of the grill. Grill was set to max temp as can be seen in the pictures and given time to heat. One end measured 532f while the other is 332f. Was expecting an even 400f throughout. The cooking surface is heated by a heating element very similar to the coils you see on stove tops that is soldered directly to the bottom of the grill/griddle.

I've only used it one time so far .... made 6 burgers at a time .... which were a bit crowded, and a 1/2 cup measuring cup (level) of lean ground beef. I had to put the heat to 5, but it was fine. Cooking at 5 min per side caused them to be something like medium, which is fine for me. Then came the cleaning part .... and because this grill comes apart so easily, the lower part that catches the fat, etc .... comes out easy and cleans easy. The grill part also comes out super easy, and was not at all difficult to clean. I have had other grills, like one Foreman grill, which was next to impossible to clean. But to be fair to that manufacturer, I've only had one type. They may have vastly improved it over the years. Anyway ... I think you can't go wrong with this grill. A lot of thought went into the engineering of it ... which obviously included that it be simple and easy to clean
