I was looking for a grill that will not take up much room, lightweight, and easy to carry/ pack. Also mainly to use charcoal instead of gas. The Mueller grill was exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was very easy right out of the box. Just dump your easy to lite coals and you're ready to grill. The very high heat does deform the mesh grill after a couple uses but you can bend it back. So far I've used it twice and it does the job perfectly. Skewers, burgers, and hot dogs are so far a hit using this grill. I would recommend to buy a non-expensive grill that is only used on occasions.

I bought this as a gift to my husband for Father’s Day. He used this grill for the first time at a picnic with his work friends. He loves it!! It is very portable and convenient to bring anywhere. The distribution of the heat is even, cooking the meat perfectly. The coal also lasts longer and doesn’t burn out fast so he doesn’t have to add more coal frequently. His coworkers were impressed by it and asked him where he got it. He shared the information to ay least 3 of them. Highly recommend

this is a very compact grill if you would even call it a grill! the charcoal is so close to the grill we had to do some trial and error to figure out the sweet spot, but it ended up doing what we bought it for!! I would say for the price I would have just gotten a cheap BBQ grill from Walmart instead but since I needed something more compact, I went with this instead! it does work I just think if you have the space, it's too much for what you're getting!

We had a Scout day at the park and I needed a small portable grill. I used a cylindrical fire starter to get the coals started, spread them in the pan, and we were cooking! I did oil the grate (don't use spray as it will adhere). Hot dogs, bratwurst and burgers were great (although make sure you have water or a fire extinguisher near by in case of accidents). Cleaned up in a snap! Very convenient and easy to store.

Just used the grill for the first time and the only real drawback is they made the pan that holds the charcoal WAY too shallow. Literally, only one layer of charcoal was possible, and it was touching the bottom of the grill! I was able to use it only by placing a brick on either end, laying the grill on top of that, then placing another brick on top of the grill at each end to hold it in place. This gave a bit of space between the charcoal and the meat, although the flames from the dripping fat were licking the bottom of the meat. Otherwise it worked fine, although it could be made better if it had a vented cover. A bit flimsy but not too bad. Very easy to set up - just fold the legs open and that's it. I will return it if I can find a better one in my price range.
