    • Bought this "One Stop Kit" for Mr. Heater Ventless Propane Heater and it Helped a lot!
We bought this Kit to use with the Mr. Heater 30,000BTU Ventless Blue Flame Propane Heater. We also bought the Mr. Heater 12ft. hose with regulator as we were hooking heater up to a 20# Propane tank. We found it helpful to draw a diagram of all the connections 1/2" or 3/8", male or female, flared male ends sometimes. This will show you what you lack and if will need to buy anything additional at the hardware store- and be sure it's correct for Propane in this case ( "black pipe" steel pipe, or copper tubing and brass fittings- the professionals can tell you precisely, as I am no expert). Also be sure you seal everything well as directed, with yellow gas rated teflon tape and/or gas rated Pipe Dope, and test all connections with dish soap or soapy spray for leaks multiple times. It is great to have the in line Shut off as it adds to the safety of operation IMHO. Also the flex line in this kit really helps with transition from heater -to fitting- to shut off valve- to the long hose to tank (our set up). AS YOU MAY HAVE READ- the main "L" connector that comes with Mr. Heater Ventless Heater can easily strip out and cause havoc so you may want to buy a brass fitting at the store and use that instead! This "L" is NOT part of this kit. This kit was great, and I would recommend it. We did have to use tape on one male "flanged" end (carefully) because it leaked, even though I'd read you don't usually tape or pipe dope the "flanged" fittings. You DO tape and/or Pipe Dope the MALE end of the fittings (the female are the inner threads of the pipe). I am a novice so please read all instructions and safety instructions and ask a Pro if unsure . A bit confusing at first but making a diagram, numbering the sequence really helped us. ... show more

    • this is a great product....but we ended up not needing it for my natural gas application.
Our Install pro Chris said that this was a very good universal set....but we didnt need it on my unit so we donated it to someone who did need it. The fittings & every piece of the set was very well made....

I'm glad to have Amazon on my side when I can't find this product at the big box stores. I used it to install the gas fireplace insert and it was pretty easy to get it hooked up. Came with multiple fittings that can work in most applications. It's easy to bend and route inside the fireplace box. The key thing to make sure of is to align the fitting and flexible metal hose to sit in properly. Do not over-tighten the fittings and check with a leak detection method before use. ... show more

The cut off valve is a good product. Didn’t use the rest of the kit.

Hooked up Mr heater 30,000 blue flame wall heater with this. Just what i needed. Black iron 1/2 inch supply line then to the brass fitting. Warning on all soft brass for tightening. Dont be a bear. Its only a few pounds gas pressure. Not high pressure.
