First, yes the duct is better than the cheaper standard ones that I used before. As mentioned in other reviews, I was unable to get the duct to fit over the 4" outlet. But, I just snipped the last ring of the duct, then slid it over the outlet and clamped it down. So its working fine with that one adjustment. The one item that stood out to me is that it really doesn't appear to match the stock photos in the advertisement. From the description and photos on the page, the actual duct doesn't appear to be as thick and durable as I was expecting. It is a good product, much better than standard duct, but I'm a little disappointed in the quaility. ... show more

My old metal flex pipe was rather stiff and pretty much held in place with metal tape. This one was much easier to install and looks better. I installed it to a quick remove wall connector system so with that and the flexibility it should make cleaning out the dryer vent pipe much easier.
