  • MOVA V50 might be the one!!
Color: White
UPDATE 1/31/26- So Mova is still doing a great job keeping my place clean. I've changed the scheduled cleaning sessions once again to accommodate my home and time. One issue i found, if you're a pet owner you've got to check the onboard filter weekly as there's no notification sent through the app to do so. My mova seemed to be doing a horrible job out of no where. Simply leaving debris everywhere even with thr suction set to turbo. I wrote Mova who replied quickly and came up with a solution that worked for both of us. They offered a new machine to replace this one. Well in my experience, a new machine may have ended up having it's own issues far worse than what I'm already experiencing. I asked Mova if they would mind sending the new unit out and let me test it for a while as i could afford the downtime as well as the chance that i receive a lemon. They agreed, but just before they shipped a new unit i decided to look at the onboard filter which had just been changed a few weeks prior. Sure enough there was about an inch of cat fur on the inside of the filter causing suction to diminish greatly. I took the filter out svs cleaned the fur off and the machine is back in business! I alerted Mova of this and mentioned there not being anything in the app to remind users of this who are pet owners. They are grateful and said they'd pass this along to their engineers. On a side not, I spoke with Mova about designing a plumbing installation kit for this machine which they were actually helpful with and offered their support through testing. I'm in my 4th week of testing now and everything is working wonderfully. I really like a company that stands behind their product, but finding one that agrees to not void your warranty while you text out modifications is great! Anyhow the V50 is solid and doing just fine. I'll update in the future as there is one other thing on the list i wish was better but for now let's let it run... UPDATE 10/16/25- So I've been living with Mova for some time now since my original purchase and here are my thoughts. I recently moved to a new place and had to remap after moving in. I like the fact that while I had to delete the old map, my scheduled cleaning data didn't get erased. That gave me time to look at how i had routines set up and i felt that leaving most of the routines in ai cleaning mode netted a better result overall. In my last home a deep cleaning which was scheduled on Saturdays would take hours. Lots of returns to the dock to charge etc. This past Saturday, Mova ran through my place with one thing on her mind. Clean and get out the way. I now have it set up to vacuum every night at 10pm, then scheduled mopping and vacuum at 3 am 3 nights a week. The rest of the week is a mixed bag of cleaning routines making sure to mop my kitchen every night. She's doing a fantastic job at keeping the cat fur down to a minimum and making sure to pick up the litter and whatever else my cats leave behind. The only thing i wish this vacuum had the ability to do is add a plumbing kit. This one lasted past the 30 days return window so now I'm married to it. Another thing to add, I've noticed when searching for reviews at least in my experience, I hadn't found several bad reviews. Plenty of good reviews out there on this particular model. And in researching i found that the vacuums that tend to have the most negative reviews are generally ones to stay away from. Conversely, when looking for mixed reviews on the Mova v50, there weren't nearly as many as any other vacuum I'd come across. Now this has been my experience so far and what that translates to is if people aren't talking about it, it must be good because I've noticed everyone has time to express their horrible experiences but a lot of folks do not really take time out to mention all the great experiences they've had. Overall i am happy with my purchase and will be keeping this until it falls apart. Then we'll see what's next! Purchased around September 3rd 2025- So here's my review of the Mova V50. I was skeptic with all these robot vacuums coming out every other week. My partner convinced me to purchase this new one and I can confidently say so far she was right. The vacuum has performed virtually problem free. In fact the few times it's gone rogue was actually due to my negligence. A quick remap and things were rolling. It got stuck only a handful of times, going under a sofa in my guest bedroom that had large items that would bust ankles if walked on! So not the vacuums fault. I quick move of those items stored under the sofa and back to work. Programming was easy, and straight forward if you've programmed other vacuums before. Mapping was excellent! Furniture was automatically recognized and placed where it should be. My cats food bowls were easily recognized and so were their beds. I love the pet photo capture feature. When it's completed a task I go check the stored photos and see what my cats are up to. I see the v50 cleaning corners diligently and going over areas that it either missed due to a pet being in the way at the time of the first pass. I've also watched it go back to clean heavily soiled areas ensuring they weren't overlooked. Since I've worked out the little kinks it hasn't let me down. I'm coming up on the 30 day return window and you better believe it was going back if it didn't perform. I will say the only negative which is due to my programming actually is that it uses a LOT of water. But I have it mopping 7 days a week. Either the entire apartment or my kitchen and master bath on alternating days. It gets the job done. I'd like it to have an optional plumbing connection but they've not come up with one. I have figured out how to modify it to incorporate my own but perhaps I'll wait to see if it's really needed. Right now it's in my kitchen close to my kitchen sink so refilling isn't that taxing. I must admit I've gotten quite lazy so naturally filling and emptying became a task for me lol. But seriously this thing just works. Am I skeptic what long term ownership looks like? Absolutely, but I've had a few of these things and once they break they're broke. I haven't had to contact customer service once since purchasing the Mova V50 and hope I never have to. I'm gonna rate this a 9/10 just because I'm still not convinced it will last but it is doing quite good job. For reference I have a 1300 sqft 2 bedroom apartment with 2 baths. Carpet in both bedrooms and vinyl composite flooring throughout the rest. 2 cats and when my girlfriend comes over with her dog and her long hair everywhere. ... show more

  • The Best Gift I’ve Ever Gotten My Parents — This Robot Vacuum Truly Delivers The Best Gift I’ve Ever Gotten My Parents — This Robot Vacuum Truly Delivers
Color: White
I’ve heard my parents talk about wanting a robot vacuum for years, but they never bought one, so I finally pulled the trigger and got one for them. Choosing which one to get wasn’t easy. I had no idea there were so many options. After spending several days comparing models from Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, MOVA, and Narwal, I landed on the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete. The feature set is impressive, and the 3-year warranty gave me the confidence to go for it. It turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever given them. Feedback (from unboxing and a few cleans!): - It was well packaged and included everything you’d need and more (extra side brushes, mop pads, filters, dust bags, general cleaning solution, and even a pet deodorizer). - Setup was seamless. The vacuum connected to Wi-Fi in minutes and immediately prompted a firmware update, which reassured us that MOVA continues to improve the product post-purchase. - My parents’ home has two floors and a few raised and sunken areas. Since the V50 can’t climb full-sized steps, we manually placed it in each zone. The multi-floor mapping feature worked flawlessly, and once each space was mapped, the vacuum navigated with precision. - The V50 smoothly maneuvered around furniture, glided under low-clearance pieces and cleaned confidently around tight areas like dog bowls. It even got right up against stair edges without ever coming close to falling, which really showcased its advanced sensors. - This vacuum has serious suction power. We could hear it ramp up on rugs, and the combination of side brushes and the extended mop pad left no visible debris behind. - We were pleasantly surprised by how well it handled thick shag rugs. We expected issues, but there were no tangles or jams, just steady cleaning and audible debris pickup. - And despite its power, the V50 is surprisingly quiet. My parents’ Shih Tzu, Harlie, wasn’t bothered at all, just curious when it passed her food bowls. - The mopping feature is smarter than we anticipated. The V50 returned to the dock multiple times to clean the mop pads, then re-mopped previously cleaned areas to avoid spreading dirt. At the end of the run, the app sent a notification prompting us to refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty one. Overall, this robovac has truly exceeded our expectations. It’s been easy to use, smart enough to adapt to a tricky home layout, and quiet enough to keep the dog relaxed. If anything changes as my parents continue using it, I’ll update this review, but as of now, they love it. ... show more

  • So Much Easier Than My Dyson — Wish I Switched Sooner So Much Easier Than My Dyson — Wish I Switched Sooner
Color: White
I used a Dyson stick vacuum for years and honestly thought it was good enough. But after getting the MOVA V50 Ultra, I realized how much time and energy I was wasting. The biggest difference is I literally don't have to do anything now. With my Dyson, I had to walk around the whole house pushing and pulling the vacuum, bending under furniture, getting into every corner — by the time I was done, my back was killing me. Now I just open the app and hit start, or tell Alexa to run it, or press the button on top before I head out. Three ways to control it and they all work perfectly. I usually schedule it to clean while I'm at work, and I come home to spotless floors every day. It's kind of life-changing honestly. And the cleaning result? Way better than I expected. I was skeptical that a robot could clean as well as my Dyson, but the 24,000Pa suction picks up everything — pet hair, dust, crumbs, all of it. I walk around barefoot after it runs and the floor feels completely clean. It even handles my door thresholds with no problem, just climbs right over them and keeps going. The mopping is something my Dyson could never do, and it's honestly one of my favorite features now. The hot water self-cleaning system keeps the mop pad fresh, and the hot air drying means no weird smells. My kitchen floor looks like I spent 20 minutes mopping it by hand, but I didn't lift a finger. Oh and one more thing — no more hair tangles on the brush. I have long hair and my Dyson brush head was always a mess. I'd have to sit there with scissors cutting hair off every week. The DuoBrush on this thing stays completely clean. I've checked it multiple times and still nothing wrapped around it. If you're still spending your weekends pushing a vacuum around the house, honestly just get this and take your life back. I'm never going back to manual vacuuming again. ... show more

  • Decided to keep this one after trying 2 cheaper ones Decided to keep this one after trying 2 cheaper ones
Color: White
Overall I like this machine. Navigation is a bit strange, as after mapping it sometimes "sees" obstacles that aren't there. A little nudge into the area seems to resolve that. We also had all floors recently replaced as well as other remodeling, and after removing some boxes, nudging it a little, or picking it up, placing on the area, then restarting it - made it realize the area was now clear. I haven't yet turned the camera on so I can see what it's "seeing." I may try that soon, though I don't like having to give my GPS location to do that. And even though it mapped areas pretty well, it still tends to occasionally get lost - as it thinks part of another room is part of a bathroom which is on the other side of a wall. Part of the trick to learning its way back to the charging base is to allow it to wander around lost until it figures out its way, though I won't promise that works every time. We recently changed all of our flooring to Luxury Vinyl Plank, and I really like the warm water mopping feature. It does a good job of cleaning with the (limited) 27% threshold of water not requiring it to wet the mops often. You can make it wetter, but it requires more water trips. The mop and brush extenders are also great at getting underneath the kitchen cabinets and other furniture - and the retracting lidar unit on top to make it flush with the top of the whole unit, also helps a great deal. We have a fairly large house, so it would be nice if I could turn up the volume even more than it currently allows. Even while sitting with doors open, and with great hearing - I can't always hear what she's saying while vacuuming and/or when she quits when I'm not expecting it. It's not the most quiet vacuum, though lower suction options are quieter. I also like the "Do not disturb" feature so it won't finish unfinished jobs in the middle of the night. We have a "German Shedder" dog, and my biggest complaint is that even with "Max +" vacuuming on, it regularly leaves wads of dog hair in various places, as if those clumps got caught on the brushes, then they are just deposited somewhere - favoring to leave them on the few low carpets I have, though it has left them in the middle of the floor too. I think one of the cheaper models I returned did a better vacuuming job without doing that. The only redeeming part of this, is that I know where it tends to leave those clumps of dog hair so I simply pick them up - and doing that saves me from having to buy more bags which I've never liked having to do with a vacuum. There are some places on the map it's marked itself with rugs where there aren't any, so I manually removed them - especially for mopping. Battery life so far is decent compared to others. Software not fully intuitive, it's a bit of a learning curve. Overall I'm happy with it, and with only using water for damp mopping without adding any proprietary detergent. Fairly expensive, but so far the best I've tried. I'm hoping it lasts. ... show more

  • Finally Found THE ONE – Way Better Than My Old Robot Vacuum! Finally Found THE ONE – Way Better Than My Old Robot Vacuum!
Color: White
Okay, I have to say — I've gone through a couple of robot vacuums before (Roborock, iRobot, you name it), and the MOVA V50 Ultra honestly blows them all out of the water. I was a little skeptical at first because MOVA isn't as "big name" as some other brands, but after using it for about a month now, I'm a total convert. Suction Power That Actually Delivers: The 24,000Pa suction is no joke. My old robot vacuum claimed "strong suction" too, but it always left behind pet hair and fine dust along the edges. The V50 Ultra? It gets EVERYTHING. I have two cats and a golden retriever, and my floors have never been this clean. No More Disgusting Hair Tangles: This was my #1 frustration with my previous robots. I used to spend long time after every cleaning session pulling hair out of the brush roll. It was gross. The Zero Tangling DuoBrush on this thing actually works — I've checked the brush multiple times and it's still clean. This alone makes it worth switching from my old Roborock. The Hot Water Mopping is a Game Changer: Most robot mops just drag a damp cloth around and call it "mopping." Not this one. The 176°F hot water self-cleaning system actually makes the mop pad clean before it touches your floor. And the fast hot air drying afterward means no mildew smell — which was a problem I had with my old 2-in-1 robot. My kitchen tile floors look like I hand-mopped them. Seriously. Climbs Over Everything: I live in an older house with slightly raised door thresholds, and my previous robot would get stuck EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The V50 Ultra handles the 2.28-inch transitions like it's nothing. It just rolls right over and keeps going. I don't have to "rescue" it anymore, which is such a relief. Smart Navigation That Actually Works: The FlexiRise Navigation maps my entire house accurately — even the tricky areas under the dining table and around chair legs. My old iRobot used to bump into everything like a drunk Roomba. This one avoids obstacles smoothly and rarely gets stuck. It feels like a real upgrade in intelligence. Easy to Control in Every Way: I mostly use the app, which is clean and intuitive — way better than some of the clunky apps I've dealt with. But I also love that I can tell Alexa to start it when my hands are full. The Bottom Line: If you're on the fence or thinking about upgrading from another brand — just do it. I wish I had found MOVA sooner. The V50 Ultra cleans better, mops better, maintains itself better, and navigates smarter than anything I've owned before. And honestly? It's priced better too. This is the real deal. Highly, highly recommend. ... show more

  • Mova v50 first thoughts Mova v50 first thoughts
Color: Black
The very first thing I noticed is that this vacuum is very heavy. For some reason the base and the vacuum itself are heavier than any of the other ones I've used so far. I have no idea why. I guess they must be packing a lot of additional features in the vacuum below the surface. As I messed around with the vacuum, I think I figured out a few of them. The thing I can't quite believe, even to this day, is just how many additional accessories this vacuum comes with. Mine came with 10 mop pads, three filters, two side brushes, three dust bags, a big bottle of cleaning solution, and a small bottle of Pet solution, and to top it all off it also came with an additional TroboWave brush roller. I still wonder if TroboWave was a typo for TurboWave that Mova decided to just go with after the initial batch was misprinted 😂. Either way, in my opinion, this is enough accessories to last over a year without having to buy anything else. The base station is what we've all come to expect from a high-end robot vacuum, it washes the mop pads with hot water, it dries them with hot air, it has a clean water tank, a dirty water tank, and a tank for cleaning detergent. This is where I found the first big surprise. The detergent tank has the ability to hold two different types of cleaning solution, one for normal floor cleaning solution, and one specifically for a Mova pet cleaning solution. I'll talk about ALL of the pet features later in the review, but needless to say, they are impressive. Once I clicked the vacuum into the base, it turned itself on and started to charge. I followed the instructions in the app to scan the QR code and set up the Wi-Fi. Setting up the Wi-Fi for this vacuum was the same as the Dreame app, and nearly the same as the eufy app. The v50 broadcasts its own Wi-Fi signal for setup. I did need to turn off the auto reconnect on my phone so that it would not jump back over to my home Wi-Fi during the setup, but I've heard others have had to do the same thing as well. The first thing the vacuum wanted to do was set up a bunch of the AI features and ask if I had pets in my home. I enabled all of the features, although I've heard that depending on your floor type, sometimes you need to disable the stain recognition so the vacuum doesn't get too confused with the pattern on the floor. I told the vacuum to go out and do its initial map of my main floor, I was extremely surprised how quickly it was able to map everything. I felt like it would barely enter a room before it would turn around and leave again. The onboard lidar and 3D structured light seem to do a very efficient job of mapping a room without having to cover every single corner. When the vacuum was done mapping, it did a fairly good job of breaking up the different rooms and correctly identifying them. It did have some problems recognizing my stairs going down into the basement, and try to name it as an additional bedroom. Luckily, the app is pretty good about letting you merge, divide, and hide rooms. I just clicked on “hide” for the spot over my stairs and it worked. I also discovered that if you have a floor-length mirror the lidar thinks there's a room beyond it. I don't know if this is an alternative dimension but I could never get the vacuum to go there 😉. I did notice that it's constantly updating its map and can make adjustments if things change between cleaning tasks. For example I accidentally left the door under the stairs open and it happily went in and mapped that little room after the initial mapping task. The X factor for all these Robot Vacuums is how well it recognizes stains and dirty spots so it can clean them again. The v50 excels at identifying and cleaning up spills and other little messes. Its AI can recognize 200 different objects and the 3D structured light keeps it from running into things in real time. The carpet cleaning seems pretty great too. The dual brush rollers seem to channel the dust and hair into the dust bin, and that empties into the base station. One kind of cool feature, the base station has the ability to dry the dust bin and the dust collection bag. I don't have a huge issue with humidity, but I can see how it could be great for others. The reason the V50 better fits my home is the pet features. Since we have three dogs, keeping the floors clean is a serious challenge—and an even bigger priority. The pet-specific cleaning features are probably what first attracted me to the MOVA V50. We were losing the war against our dogs pretty much every day. Between dirty paw prints, sticks, and other junk from the backyard, we were tired of cleaning. When we were setting up the V50, I already knew we had something different. At the end of every week, it sends you a notification to review your pet’s activity. It shows you the areas where your pets were most frequently seen, then offers to re-clean those spots with its special pet solution. If you're away from home, you can even ask the vacuum to find your pet. (I mostly use it like a game of hide and seek with my dogs now, but I can definitely see how others might use it to keep their pets out of trouble.) It can also detect where the dog dishes are and use extra suction to pick up the loose kibble that always ends up on the floor. Probably the most important pet-related feature so far is the AI obstacle recognition. That means when my 16-year-old dog has an accident on the tile, the vacuum (so far—crossing fingers) has been able to identify it and avoid it. That one feature alone is worth everything. While I mainly wanted to highlight the pet features in this post, I’ve got to mention how cool it is that the LiDAR sensor retracts so it can get under low furniture, and the StepMaster system lets it climb over thresholds and even the U-shaped bases of our bar stools. With some of my older vacuums I was just resigned to the fact that they would get stuck on things but the V50 has the ability to rescue itself using those retractable little Stepmaster legs. I know I've only had it for a week, and I'll keep testing it, but so far I'm a pretty big fan of the Mova V50 Ultra Complete. I personally feel the price point and the features make it hard to ignore, but the additional accessories make it nearly a must have. ... show more

  • A genuinely “hands-off” cleaning system that finally feels complete A genuinely “hands-off” cleaning system that finally feels complete
Color: White
After using the Mova V50 Ultra Complete for a while, it’s clear this isn’t just another robot vacuum with a mop slapped on—it feels like a full cleaning system designed to actually reduce how often you need to intervene. The first thing that stands out is the suction power. At 24,000 Pa, it’s strong enough that you can tell the difference immediately on carpets. Pet hair, crumbs, and fine dust don’t just get pushed around—they’re actually pulled out of the fibers in a way that cheaper robots usually fail at. What surprised me most wasn’t just the suction, though—it was how it handles mixed surfaces without getting confused. It transitions from hard floors to rugs smoothly, and instead of leaving that slightly dusty edge you often see with weaker models, it seems to maintain consistent pickup across the whole path. For a home with pets, that consistency matters more than raw specs. The mop system is where it starts to feel more “premium” in practice rather than just on paper. The warm water feature makes a noticeable difference compared to cold-water mopping systems. Floors feel more evenly cleaned, especially in areas like kitchens where light grease or sticky spots tend to build up. It doesn’t just drag a damp pad around—it actually feels like it’s breaking down residue more effectively. The DuoSolution system is also practical if you have pets, because it helps manage odor and general mess without leaving that damp, unpleasant smell some robot mops can create over time. Navigation is another area where it behaves more intelligently than most robots I’ve tried. The liftable navigation system and obstacle handling up to 6 cm means it doesn’t get stuck on everyday household transitions like thicker mats, small thresholds, or scattered pet toys. Instead of constantly babysitting it or rescuing it mid-clean, it just keeps moving and adapts. That alone changes how useful it feels in real life because you’re not constantly checking the app or clearing its path. The docking and maintenance cycle is also where it earns its “complete” name. It handles self-cleaning routines well enough that you’re not constantly rinsing mop pads or emptying dust bins after every run. It’s not zero maintenance, but it shifts the effort from daily to something more occasional, which is really what most people want from this category of device. Noise levels are reasonable considering the power it’s working with. You notice it when it ramps up on carpets, but it doesn’t feel disruptive in a normal home environment. It’s more of a background presence than something that demands attention. What it ultimately does well is reduce the mental load of cleaning. With pets, you usually end up in a cycle of constant sweeping, quick mopping, and vacuuming in between. This doesn’t eliminate that entirely, but it stretches out the time between manual cleanups in a meaningful way. Floors stay consistently presentable instead of swinging between clean and messy. It’s not perfect—no robot really is—but the combination of strong suction, effective mopping, smart navigation, and reduced maintenance makes it one of the few setups that actually feels like it earns its price in day-to-day use rather than just impressing on spec sheets. ... show more

  • Constantly clean floors - life changing!
Color: White
I’ve had this robot vac/mop for about a month now and I cannot express how much I love this product. Between a large lab who sheds constantly and a yorkie who has frequent accidents, my floors were always a mess, leaving me stressed about finding time to sweep and mop. Now the V50 runs a vacuum cycle every night and deep cleans/mops twice a week, and I wake up to clean, shiny, floors. Set up was easy and the mapping was done in less than 15 mins. It has no problem going over thresholds. I have tile, hardwood, and LVP, along with an area rug.
