  • sleek and functional egg incubator
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I recently received the Egg Incubator I ordered and I'm impressed with its appearance and functionality. Although I haven't used it yet, it seems like a promising product. The incubator has a sleek design that looks visually appealing. It appears to be well-built and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity. From what I can tell, the incubator offers practical features. The transparent lid allows easy observation of the eggs without disturbing them. It also seems to have reliable temperature and humidity controls for creating an optimal environment for successful incubation. While I can't comment on its performance firsthand, the incubator appears versatile enough to accommodate different egg sizes. It seems user-friendly with its adjustable dividers and trays. I'm looking forward to trying it out and seeing the results for myself. ... show more

  • Do not buy terrible
Size: 52 Eggs Incubator
Worked great for about 7-10 days - I tested temperature multiple times and it was good. At some point - it completely stopped heating. 52 eggs lost Humidity can’t be measured. The water bottles and outline of water does 0 for humidity- ended up buying a humidity checker and it did not have any (even with water in the bottles) Air flow is terrible. No vent holes. Worst incubator I have ever purchased. ... show more

  • Perfect size
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
This incubator is the perfect size for someone that isn't trying to have a business with the animals they hatch. What I mean is, you can easily hatch yourself up to 8 chicken (or in my case of my most recent batch, turkey) eggs, and then it is small enough to put away until next year. It doesn't take up a ton of room, so you can easily leave it on a table or dresser. The automatic egg turning was a life saver, I forgot to make sure that was one of the features before I bought it. It does have an egg candler which is much more handy than trying to find a flashlight brought enough to check the eggs. I wish it had a different kind of reservoir to hold the water instead of pop bottles, but that would be much harder to clean. It isn't loud so you can have it in your bedroom if that's the only room that stays a good temperature. This is so easy to use that my 5-year-old is claiming it as his own. ... show more

  • With Modification 100% hatch rate on mail order eggs.
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
So, it doesn't turn quail eggs, kinda just scoots them around because there isn't enough traction to moment a roll. And it hangs baby quail by the neck at the heat vents (which they all will eventually reach for) and the head fits perfect going in, bit of a struggle getting them out without snapping their fragile bones. That being said. This unit holds the most accurate humidity and temp thus far as any others I've tried. The fix. Paper towel on the 'floor' to give the eggs traction to turn on days 1-13. You only need one bottle for this so use the other outlet for drainage. I use a generic compressed cellulose sponge cut up in smaller cubes to soak up any overflowthat way when it's had its fill, I can use that to maintain humidity wherever I may need it. Lockdown. Flip the fitted Styrofoam over on top of the flat piece of Styrofoam included in shipping. Place your drainage cubes around your eggs ( don't worry if they are touching.) You will be using the unit lid as the dome so keep it On,on a flat surface during transition. Turn on the light, cull all the eggs you can see through, don't bother looking for the air sack, just glimpse and place the dark ones in the nest. Once finished, give the whole nest an even spritz of clean pottable water and cover with the lid. Remember to turn off the light. On day 18 you can take a peek at the process, but I promise for some unforseen reason you'll want to open that dome. Just wait until day 19 to open the lid. Even if you think you're looking at a bodies hanging from the ceiling. If you do you will kill whatever has pipped and hasn't hatched. (Barometric vacuum) What has hatched and hasn't fluffed can catch a chill, die, or introduce respiratory infection to your developing flock. The bodies that are hanging are likely spinal damaged beyond saving and the chick will likely die within the first 2 weeks but not before a slow struggling battle they will inevitably lose. You will need to use survival math depending on your stage of hatch in order to make the call. These are things that can happen, but likely won't happen. Except the hanging bodies things. It's horrifying. But with a little more space those horrific fatalities are a thing of the past. Most successful hatch -auto side to side. 7/12 Most successful hatch- auto rotate 15/18, with four hanging fatalities Modified hatch - auto rotate 18/18. I am hatching Celadon Coturnix quail. I am in no way an experienced anything. I am just a beginner and the hanging thing was a little traumatic, but the subsequent deaths were worse. With the cheap Modifications to this unit got me 2 back to back 100% hatches from 2 different breeders. P.S. No matter what unit you use, always utilize the included Styrofoam. Unless you live tropical ambiance ... show more

  • Really works, stable temperature, impressed
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I was a little skeptical due to a bad experience with another mini incubator I recently tried (killed my eggs with temp fluctuations) but I am impressed with this one so far. I put in my own little thermometer and humidity gage to test it, and it stays impressively stable and uniform throughout the incubator despite temperature changes in the house around it. Couldn't resist candling my eggs to check (the built in LED candler is really nice) and have live development in almost all of them. I'm so excited. The auto turner is very nice also. Great little machine Update: got a decent hatch rate, I've got 3 chicks and 4 quail out of this first round. ... show more

  • Good Egg Incubator for Beginners
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I bought this egg incubator on Amazon and wanted to share my thoughts. It's pretty easy to set up, and the instructions helped. I'm new to hatching eggs, but this incubator made it less confusing. I like that it shows the temperature and humidity, so I know things are going okay. The incubator turns the eggs by itself, which is cool. I can see inside through the top, which is neat, and there's an alarm if something's not right. I've had some eggs hatch using this, and that's exciting for someone like me who's not experienced. It might not be fancy, but it helped me hatch eggs without a lot of fuss. If you're just starting like me, this could be a good choice. ... show more

  • Very Substandard Incubator
Size: 52 Eggs Incubator
I've incubated eggs for over a year now and have had a success rate of 80% every time until I used this thing. I bought it because of its large capacity but what a waste. The humidity fluctuates like crazy, the water ring leaks constantly, and there is almost no airflow. Only 12 of my 47 fertile eggs actually hatched, a full dozen pipped then died due to humidity fluctuations and lack of air. I'm seriously disappointed in this product. ... show more
