This is a very good electric charger. Once it is attached to the wall, it provides a quicker method of charging your compatible electric automobile. It will take some time in attaching it to a wall. Make sure you have a strong attachment so this expensive unit is firmly attached to a wall (cinder blocks in my garage). The unit itself has only one screw for attachment. I would recommend you get to a hardware store for stronger screws to prevent breakage of the unit. The other drawback is that the power cord should be longer, especially if you have two cars in your garage. This charger works well for my electric Mini Cooper, reducing the time needed for a full charge. Unfortunately, it is not able to charge my Tesla.

Works well enough to Tesla (via a converter) and Bolt. Charges at 40A. But the connection to the Tesla converter is very very tight. Inserting the converter and removing the converter is difficult.

This product is great, I have a Ioniq 5 and it didn’t work at first because of the voltage transfer, when I fixed it the charging time was amazing! I can leave it on overnight and it will charge to 100%. I recommend this charger but anyone with an ioniq 5 if it doesn’t work check the voltage transfer and change it to medium. Great charger! Worth the money!

Charged my BMW X5 4.0E at 240 v The 110V was not accepted by the car. Works great at 240V!

This charger worked fine for a little over a year and then started to sporadically have errors - the lights on the car flash from green to red and the amperage drops from 40 to 5. Had the car checked thoroughly at the dealership and they said the car was fine and it worked perfectly with their brand of charger. They said this charger is the problem. So I looked on Amazon product page for warranty information and it said to "check the manufacturer's website". The Morec website clearly states there is a 2 year warranty. When I contacted Morec and sent them a description and videos of the problem, there response was even though our warranty is 2 years, if you buy this through Amazon the warranty is only 1year. I explained to them that it says in writing on their website that the warranty is 2 years and makes no mention of a lesser warranty if purchased through Amazon. Their response continues to be the warranty is 2 years if purchased through us, but only 1 year if purchased through Amazon. I have insisted that they need to honor the warranty that they show in writing on their website and they have refused. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND CHARGER!

I bought the 40A version of the charger for my two EVs. One can charge at 32A max (Bolt) and the other at 8A max (Prius). The charging wire and the outlet plug contacts stay cool after 7 hours of charging. I noticed some scratches on the display and reached out to the customer service. They responded the next day and pointed out it is just a protection sticker that can be removed. The price dropped a few dollars around the same time and they did not hesitate adjusting the difference. That was very nice of them to do. Overall very pleased with the purchase, considering how quickly i can charge my long range EV.

I would like to have an app that tells me the current percentage my battery is charged and /or a feature that allows a start/stop remotely. At present I have to go outside turn the car on to see the exact battery charge percentage and I have to go outside to stop the charge.
