I love that my butt doesn’t hang out of these so I can wear them to work. I’m a bartender and these are comfortable. Soft enough and long enough. They give me a little bit of a flat booty because they are such a high rise but that’s ok, cuz the rise keeps my panties from showing. I’d say if you want a tighter fit, go true to size. But I ordered one size up after reading reviews and they are casually loose. They do loosen up after an hour or two since there is no stretch, so keep that in mind. I ordered the black ones two but will probably exchange for my true size. These are fitted through the waist and thighs and loosen up a little at the legs. Very comfortable. I have several pairs list on this. The Athens med indigo one is such a cute style. But it does run smaller than the other short styles on this listing. Def size up, and the front is shorter than the other ones. Instead of exchanging my 26 (my usual size) I gave them to My 16yr old who is a 25. and she loves them and normally 501 is a bit boring for her and normally 501 gaps in the waist for her and these dont. ... show more

My daughter loved this purchase and then ordered another pair. They were heavy Levi’s quality but not too heavy for summer. The fringe was cut but not cheap looking. Probably because these were acid washed they were shrunk smaller than the dark version we bought in these so I’d say they run about one size small. They are very summery looking because the shade is super light. They have great butt coverage and come up higher on the waist ... show more

I would buy these shorts in every wash! Levis do not have a lot of stretch...structure short. Wider legs which makes them super comfy and do not ride up when walking.

I feel like "cute/flattering but uncomfortable" is the tagline I could use for pretty much every pair of Levi's I've tried, minus the stretchier styles. To start, I got these in both a SIZE 32 and 33 in the color LUXOR HEAT. I'm anywhere between a size 8-12 with a 31" waist and 43" hips, give or take, but I always feel like I have to size up in Levi's. True to form, I would not have liked my true size 30 or 31 in these, so I'm glad I went up. I ended up keeping the size 32 (pictured), as the 33s were way too baggy. I could probably have done a 31 but I like having a little extra room for my thick thighs and big butt. Keep in mind these do have the button fly, like all the 501 styles do. I personally hate button flys, but I wanted to give them a shot anyway. These shorts are adorable on - I feel really cute when I wear them and my butt looks great. However, they are pretty uncomfortable. This jean material is what I'd consider a classic, sturdy fabric with almost zero stretch, though I will say the Levi's Premium fabric is softer than the Original. These do not conform to your curves much, though I'm sure wear will eventually soften the denim (or you can search for tricks to soften them, like I eventually did). If I'm walking around or standing, I don't really have complaints, but I would probably not wear these in a situation where I'll be sitting very much. On that note, if you have thicker thighs, these shorts feel like they're going to cut them off when you're sitting. I was a soccer player for a long time so have always had larger thighs, and this is one of the reasons I've never loved wearing short-shorts, because they cut into my thighs. The edge of the fabric just digs in while you're sitting, even with these cut off styles. I'd recommend these to someone who likes a stiffer denim and/or has skinny thighs, or someone who just doesn't care, but I find myself super self-conscious sitting in these, so I don't reach for them much. I kept them because there are situations I'd still wear them, plus I just needed shorts. I much prefer my Levi's Premium 501 Mid Thigh Shorts in the same size. ... show more

They're a bit baggy around the bottom for me, I am an inverted triangle shape so to be expected. I ordered at least a size too big because I saw some close to my size say they ran small. This was a mistake. They do not run small. They are true to size IF you measure and compare to the chart. There's plenty of room in these. ... show more
