Pros: The box that came in was very sturdy. Assembling the feeder out of the box was very easy to do. After the feeder was connected to the app, it was easy for me to set up a meal schedule for my cats. Food has not gotten stuck since having it It is very easy to adjust the feeding schedule to the needs of my cats. The app will alert me if there are low food, or portions that have gotten stuck. This feeder has back up battery power. We had a storm once then knocked out the power for a couple of hours, but my cats were still able to eat on time. Thanks to the batteries. Cons: connecting to the app was a pain. It took about half an hour for me to get it to connect to the app. The app would get about halfway through the connection process and that would give me an error code. After I got the feeder finally connected to the app, I then saw that it needed a firmware update. The update took a while to happen, but once it updated, I have had no issues since. It was difficult to figure out what one portion size meant because it was not listed in the manual. After some internet browsing, I figured out that 1 portion=10grams. I was able to Google the math conversions from what I normally feed my cats in cups to grams and was able to set up a feeding portion size based on that information. Overall: I would overall recommend this product. Once you get past the initial connecting to the app, this product is super easy to use. I am someone that is constantly running around errands on my days off and I am usually gone from early in the morning till late at night so this is perfect to have. ... show more

Love this cat feeder. I think it was easy to set up and take apart. Works like a charm. My cats figured out how to break into a different feeder before, but the way this one is set up makes it more durable to thier attemps. They havent broken it open (at least yet.)

Works great! I have three cats and feeding time is way more convenient and easy! Just need to refill/ clean every few days depending on your pets needs! Just make sure to hold onto the package directions if you to re-program the feeding time/settings.

If your cats are anything like mine, they're mischievous little demons that'll do anything for food. This includes trying to stick their paws up the machine to get food, scratching it, biting it, and even trying to tip the "vending machine". This machine holds up to almost all of these well, however I would like if the machine were heavier or had the ability to be weighted to prevent it from being tipped over and moved around. For the first night, my younger cat attempted to both scratch and bite the machine in an attempt to get it to dispense food. When that didn't work, he tried putting his paw up the machine to get it to dispense. The dispense mechanism is very tight and while he was able to get his paw in there, he was unable to get it to accidentally drop any food (He has claw covers however so I'm unsure how it would have fared with sharp claws). The slider that dispenses food into both bowls installs in a way where it's detachable, but only so if the bottom/base of the machine is removed. This morning I woke up to the machine unplugged and on it's side about 5 feet from where it should have been. My assumption is that overnight, my younger one tried his hardest to battle the machine for more food, hoping to get it open. But he lost that battle, and while the machine was fallen, beaten, and powered down, it did not give in to my cat's antics. When I plugged it back in, it did not forget the time nor did it forget the meals I had set for it, I'm assuming via the internal battery keeping things going. My only design change recommendation would be to make the "split slider" part where the food slides down into each bowl be covered instead of open to further disallow cats from sticking their paws into the machine. I'd also like if the machine were more bottom heavy, or had some sort of available attachment to make it heavier. The setup instructions included should also be more detailed, to figure out how to unlock the settings I had to watch the video, which I dislike doing. There's a lot of info on this product page itself that would be great additions to the instruction manual. Overall, I'm fairly impressed the machine survived night one with my cats. I'll update this review if anything else substantial happens. My assumption will be that he will next attempt to chew the power cord, so I'm gonna be looking at reinforced ones. Thankfully it's a USB C cord and is easily replaceable. ... show more
