I have 2 of these and one always jams up. I have taken everything out and cleaned thoroughly and it will still give an error that something is caught. Bought for my dogs since they want to eat bfast sooooo early and this Momma wants to sleep in at least 1 day a week. Nope. Only works sometimes and don't know if it put food out. Had to stop using. Glad I wasn't counting on it while out of town. They would have starved.

This product was simple and easy to use right out of the package. The app is the same one you probably already have on your phone, and it is the same one used by many other home smart devices, so it is really plug-and-play. The app is simple to use and the camera is great both in color and B&W. Just a few notes: Calibrate your portions based on your specific food - load the food and dispense 10 portions to start. Adjust the portions until you get the portion correct (10 portions for my food = 1 cup for example). Also, note that some dogs will be frightened by the sound the food makes when it is dispensed into the container - you can soften the sound with batting or other material under the cup and they will get used to the sound, especially when they know it is food. For dogs, the camera is good for long distance viewing only, their heads are too large and block the camera when eating. The audio works well. The container holds plenty of food. Overall a great unit!

I adopted an underweight dog and he is on a feeding schedule and when I work I don't want him to go too long between meals so I purchased this and am so glad I did. I love that I can feed him and watch him and talk to him, i can hear him too. It holds quite a bit of food. It was a good purchase for me. I can see when he goes in and out the dog door bc that's where I have it set up. It's got a pretty wide camera lens. It's really for cats I think bc it gives tiny portions, I had to measure out the food and figure out how many servings to give him. He could easily knock it over but I told him to leave it alone. I also don't feed him at an exact time bc i don't want to wake him if he's napping so I set it up in the app so that it notifies me when there's movement and that's when I feed him though i can set it up by time as well. So I have lots of options.

I really like this feeder. It holds a lot of food in the container and dispenses seamlessly and quietly, plus you get a notification when it is complete. The camera is nice and clear and works like a security camera in terms of picture quality. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was because it does not alert you when the food is low; without you looking through the clear notification window at the front. Aside from that, totally love this and my doggie is in love with it.
