I purchased the 2' x 8' runner and two 2' x 3' rugs. First, if you're putting them on a bare floor you will definitely need the full non-slip gripper pads that cover the entire bottom of the rug because they are extremely slippery. The second problem is that the nap is thick and loose, so they have a tendency to always look "dirty" because the haphazard direction of the nap creates a dark shadowy effect. The third issue is they're VERY difficult to vacuum. My vacuum cleaner (Dyson) will not budge on these rugs, so I have to use the upholstery cleaning attachment, which is kind of a hassle. I like the pattern, the comfortable texture, and the taupe color, but would probably not order them again. ... show more

Colors are just what I needed and the soft feel of the rug is scrumptious to my feet. However, there appears to be two flaws in the coloration of the rug. I'm not sure if you can see in the picture I'm including, but two corners are much darker than rest of rug. I think there are supposed to be some color variations, but these two squared areas shouldn't be so prominent. I'm giving it a day to see if anything changes, but I'll probably end up returning it. Since it's in my foyer, there's no way to hide these two areas. I'm so disappointed that I don't love it as I'd hoped. ... show more

I’ve bought many area rugs from Amazon over the years and this one is by far my favorite. It looks great and is so soft! My 2 dogs love to roll on it. I didn’t get a pad for it and am still very happy with it, but can imagine that if you did get a pad that it would be very plush. Will buy again.

This is the fourth Mohawk carpet I have purchased and currently have in my home. I purchased this rug because I trust Mohawk for quality, beautiful carpets. I absolutely hate it. I ordered a cream colored carpet to brighten my room. I was under the impression that this carpet was a beautiful cream color with a gray design. I was wrong. Oh, this carpet is cream if you vacuum the fibers one way, but it's gray if they are swept the other way. Using my robot vacuum results in a cream and gray striped carpet. If I carefully vacuum with my vacuum, making sure all of the fibers go in the right direction, it's a beautiful cream carpet. Until I walk on it. Then, every footprint is gray, making the carpet appear old, mottled, and dirty within a couple of hours. And it's only me and a little Bichon. I'm super picky about my decor, and this carpet is not at all what it should be. As a senior, I can't even carry it to my car to return it even though I'm still in the return window. If I'd known this was a two toned directional carpet, I wouldn't have ordered it. Never again. ... show more

I bought 3 Mohawk rugs, so glad I did. Now I intentionally walk bare foot in the house just so I can walk across this rug. Also my dog sleeps more on rug then his cozy bed. The rug is soft and feels plush but also easy to vacuum.

Rug was double wrapped to ensure no water or dirt got on it during shipping. Rolled out great and it's just the amount of height I was looking for. Not shag but not super flat. The quality is better than I expected for the price. The design is pretty but not overwhelming and remains a neutral colored rug that will look great in many living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms.
