A year later we are regretting this purchase. There is a colossal dent where it is most commonly sat upon and other dents forming. Insanely uncomfortable once the dent happened. A bad buy, unfortunate. ------ For some reason we were initially told the shipment of this item would be 368 pounds! After a bit of panic that we hadn't selected "room of choice delivery" from somewhere and would have to move it from the garage, we were relieved to discover upon arrival that it weighed 99 pounds, which is a very good weight for a couch: heavy enough to have some sturdiness, light enough to be moved and maneuvered easily by two people. The velvet is lush and soft. Since this couch is close to a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto gardens here, we wanted something low-profile that would be comfortable without presenting too much disturbance to the views of nature. The deep green color (which is a little darker than pictured) looks rich and luxe, the vertical channel tufting is even and well-stitched throughout. Each corner of the sofa is extremely comfortable to cuddle up into. The middle seat is, well, a middle seat, with a relatively low back. I doubt you'd want to make that part your main hangout in a house, but the sides just invite curling up with a cup of tea and a good book. We particularly love how the couch doesn't have any cushions that come off or trap items in folds and seams of the couch, and how the base rests against the floor across the entire length, which makes it a more heavy-duty design. Couches with legs are vulnerable to center attacks by children jumping, especially if they lack a middle leg as most inexpensive couches today seem to. I was very impressed with this sofa compared to any other piece of furniture I have ever purchased online. I don't know about its longevity since it was just delivered this week. This couch is gorgeous. It’s firm, but comfy. Our family of 4 fits easily to watch a movie. It’s perfect for our vacation space. It’s probably my favorite couch I’ve ever had. We had some trouble with a delivery/damage issue but Amazon customer service came to a fair resolution.

I always wanted a pink couch and after seeing this online I had to have it in my home.
