    • Poor Factory Assembly (2 edits)
<strike>Overall the chair is great, with a giant condition.</strike> Update: Terrible quality. The assembly steps are very easy but that's because some assembly has been done for you. In my case however some of the assembly done for me was done poorly. The back of the chair slides into the base and you screw it in tight by hand, but the peg that you're sliding is attached to the back with 4 bolts. One day the back of the chair "popped" and the back became a little wobbly (I'm 6'4" 190 lbs). On further inspection I found that 2 of the 4 bolts were loose and the other two were so far undone that when I lifted the back out of the base they fell out. I looked closer and found that the two that fell out didn't even have their holes lined up with the backing nut. I loosened the other 2 bolts a little more and shifted things so they lined up, put the 2 bolts in where they should have been, and re-tightened the 2 loose bolts (one of which now spins freely, i think the nut behind it is what "popped", tearing whatever was holding the nut in place (all the nuts are not directly accessible so I'm guessing they sit in a plastic form)). Note: two of these bolts are under the mesh layer, thankfully just enough room to get some fingers and a hex key in there to tighten them. TL;DR; good chair, make sure all the pre-assembled parts are tightly put together. Update: One of the "loose" bolts has fallen out again, now I see it's threads are stripped. lowering rating by another star to 2 stars. I was hoping for a year out of this chair and I've hardly made it a month. Update 2: Been a few months now. The bolts popped again. I've carefully measured and drilled through the backing plastic and run my own bolts through with washers and double nutted (to prevent nuts from loosening). Can confirm the old bolts are a ferrous metal . Also, I'm only 180 lbs now, so the chair "should" be under less stress. Leaving it at 2 stars. Update 2 (note on comfort): I find the lumbar support slightly annoying as if I'm not exactly centered on it the plastic can be uncomfortable. ... show more

Base cushion needs better foam, it slopes too much in the front. Cleanliness was as issue. The handle had dirt and scratches inside the plastic wrapping meaning it was packed like that.
