The media could not be loaded. Equipment purchased to install in 2007 Ford EDGE SEL. Now I can remotely start my car, wherever is parked. Remote Control: Works as it should. I installed this module to an "MPC Remote Start Kit" purchased some months ago, but limited only to START the car from the original key Fob, then now I wanted to start my car from my work (The parking lote is more than 1 mile from me at work) Ease of installation: The installation process was really easy, just connect some cable connectors and make sure follow the directions from the manual. After install the APP in your phone and setting up the application to link to the car. I had a issue with the update in the app but I called Technical Support, and the guy did the best effort to fix but the problem was the device, and they sent me a new device in less than 3 days. With the new device received was PLUG&PLAY definitely. Value for money: Honestly, I think is a well-priced, by another hand this device is coming with 1 year of service, just remember this device is connected to internet 24/7 using cellular network, so the price includes that. At the end is not an expensive product! Fit: The device is coming flashed to fit your car, in my case was a 2007 Ford EDGE SEL, fitting perfect! Functionality: In my opinion this system is amazing, don't matter which year is your car, just if you can't start it remotely, go ahead and buy this stuff, recommended! Quality: The quality of the product looks ok; the material and the package came with excellent quality. The shipping was very fast, they use FEDEX and I can't complaint about it, arrived before the expected day.

I've installed 2 now. Simple install, but programming/setup can be tricky. Make sure to use both wire harnesses, even though one looks unnecessary (it's needed!). Also, set the linkr app to "fortin" on initial setup!

Linked well with phone poor instructions have to take the dash all apart again to reprogram the rest of the options which sucks but even in factory mode it locates the vehicle well and starts the car I’d definitely recommend it to you

These are useless. it was installed and NEVER worked cost me $200 to install and MPC did nothing to help!! They say plug and go but that it a lie. Tech support could not get it to work and then ghosted me. Called mycar app support and they said the item was most likely defective right out of the box. Buy a different brand, there are cheaper ones that work much better and they actually help with issues

Overall the installation went flawless, no major issues except during the programming part which says to turn on the ignition, for me only worked when I actually start the engine rather than putting the vehicle in ignition ready mode. Otherwise, it has been working flawlessly for the last couple weeks, the cellular signal is strong and it has no problem working in the underground garage (no cell signal booster installed on property). I like the fact that the subscription is only $40 per year (cheaper if you buy 3 year at the time) vs $100+ for most factory smartphone remote start, and having built in GPS tracker is a nice addition, great for finding your vehicle in a large parking lot. I'm taking one star off because of the app, although it has been very reliable without much lag, the app itself is quite ugly without much customization. In the MPC provided installation instruction, it says to enter the phone number of MPC during the initial app setup, which I found out isn't strictly necessary, matter fact I highly recommend NOT doing it because it will permanently change the app layout to the MPC layout, which has their big logo plastered front and center in the app without any way to remove it, so now I'll have to look at this eyesore whenever I use this app. Although the default app layout just has a different company logo there instead, so you are going to look at an eyesore either way.

Installing the evo all was a nightmare for missing instructions. And I gave 3 stars for that. But installing this was easy and worked at the first try. I hope it will keep working fine.
