Equipment purchased to install in 2007 Ford EDGE SEL. Now I can remotely start my car, wherever is parked. Remote Control: Works as it should. I installed this module to an "MPC Remote Start Kit" purchased some months ago, but limited only to START the car from the original key Fob, then now I wanted to start my car from my work (The parking lote is more than 1 mile from me at work) Ease of installation: The installation process was really easy, just connect some cable connectors and make sure follow the directions from the manual. After install the APP in your phone and setting up the application to link to the car. I had a issue with the update in the app but I called Technical Support, and the guy did the best effort to fix but the problem was the device, and they sent me a new device in less than 3 days. With the new device received was PLUG&PLAY definitely. Value for money: Honestly, I think is a well-priced, by another hand this device is coming with 1 year of service, just remember this device is connected to internet 24/7 using cellular network, so the price includes that. At the end is not an expensive product! Fit: The device is coming flashed to fit your car, in my case was a 2007 Ford EDGE SEL, fitting perfect! Functionality: In my opinion this system is amazing, don't matter which year is your car, just if you can't start it remotely, go ahead and buy this stuff, recommended! Quality: The quality of the product looks ok; the material and the package came with excellent quality. The shipping was very fast, they use FEDEX and I can't complaint about it, arrived before the expected day.

Almost 2 years update 2026-05-04: So far so good, still loving it, never had issues with their services and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by it. Only 2 suggestions I might add are: 1. Make the home screen more customizable, and not just with a big logo plastered onto it. 2. I would love to see an a trip log feature, and I don't mind paying an upcharge for it, it should get the start and end of the trip, how many miles driven and the time and date, it would be great for logging business trips. Overall the installation went flawless, no major issues except during the programming part which says to turn on the ignition, for me only worked when I actually start the engine rather than putting the vehicle in ignition ready mode. Otherwise, it has been working flawlessly for the last couple weeks, the cellular signal is strong and it has no problem working in the underground garage (no cell signal booster installed on property). I like the fact that the subscription is only $40 per year (cheaper if you buy 3 year at the time) vs $100+ for most factory smartphone remote start, and having built in GPS tracker is a nice addition, great for finding your vehicle in a large parking lot.

Installing the evo all was a nightmare for missing instructions. And I gave 3 stars for that. But installing this was easy and worked at the first try. I hope it will keep working fine.

On my Galaxy S24 ultra the Linkr LTX app works intermittently. When you push the remote start it takes forever to respond and only works sometimes. I have an older MPC Smartphone remote start, linkr, and it works perfectly.

Install was relatively painless. Auto-start is NOT working on the app. Tried calling tech support. Was on hold for over 45min. Created an online ticket as they’ve asked us to do. I have received no help in over 48 hours.

Linked well with phone poor instructions have to take the dash all apart again to reprogram the rest of the options which sucks but even in factory mode it locates the vehicle well and starts the car I’d definitely recommend it to you

***UPDATE*** I discovered a few issues. The first is that the EVO-All, the device that allows for FOB control, has different manufacturers, which becomes important for connecting via the smart phone app. I installed this device on a 2018 RAV4 XLE. The smart phone module included a female to male wiring harness that is difficult to use because it includes wiring designed to support many vehicles with different wiring needs. The harness that was provided with the EVO-All included an unused blue female connector. The harness that was delivered with the smart phone adapter had a black and blue female end and a male end with 2 black and a white connector. The smart phone adapter connected the blue male end to the blue female end of the adapter. The side with 3 male connectors, the white is unused, one male end connected to the EVO-All and the other connected to a blue female end from the EVO-All's T-Harness. Once connected, I had to download the app and change the protocol to "Fortin", the manufactorer of the EVO-All. Next, I had to program the EVO-All to work with the phone adapter. I had to follow the same instructions I was given to program the EVO-All to program the FOB. I have made multiple attempts to get support. First I contacted the Linkr LT company, the smart phone app. I was told to change protocol to match the name of the company on the EVO-All, which allowed for status, but disabled the on/off and lock/unlock features. I tried calling back over 2 days. The first time, I called at 415p, but all were busy. I was told to leave a message and they would call back. At about 630p I called back, but was told they closed at 5p. I then called the next day at 9a and was told the same so I left another message. When I didn't receive a call back by about 3p, I called again and finally spoke with someone. I was told that the EVO-All likely had to be programmed and I would need to call Fortin. When I spoke with Fortin, they told me how to reprogram the device, which was almost exactly the same as the process to program the EVO-All for Fob control. When the device works, its great. It is the difficulty with obtaining instructions and then obtaining support that is so difficult and frustrating. *** Good: Fairly easy to install; offers incredible range and features Bad: Instructions are confusing and support is difficult to contact Overall: Recommend the product, but patience is required First, I ordered a product labeled as MPC, but apparently they are reseller. This becomes important as you are configuring the app. I found the installation of the smart phone module fairly easy, but the package did not include instructions. I was directed to a QR Code, but I was confused when it didn't download. It wasn't clear that there was another button to select once you select the make and model of your vehicle. The guide was not incredibly useful and I ended up finding YouTube videos that were helpful, but not definitive. I ultimately just aligned the color for the female ends on the harness sent with this device to the male ends on the remote start harness. While I was able to get the start, lock, and unlock functions to engage, the status indicators suggested an error. The status is designed to go from blue (initiated) to green (completed), but I kept getting a red status (error). When configuring the app, you will be prompted for "Protocal" which apparently is the manufacturer of the remote start device. This was unclear and caused issues where the status could not be retrieved because I selected the default option rather than the manufacturer (MPC is a reseller) of the device I installed. Once I changed the Protocal to "Fortin" the app worked as expected. I initially sent an email, but the response vague. Basically I was told to restart both products (remote start and phone control). This didn't help and there wasn't any additional suggestions which led me to believe I would need to return the device. I called the support number and was given the instructions which helped significantly. If you need help, call the support number.
