These were pretty complicated to install. I figured it out, they look really good, can't complain there. One of them seems to be more sensitive to ambient light so they turn on/off at somewhat significantly different times. Got them when they were $39.99/pair. Easy to install (I’ve done 5 of 8 so far, all are working great. I’m using PAR20 LED bulbs, 6000K, daytime. I’ll add more photos tonight. I added silicone lubricant via a Q-tip to the o-ring gasket around the lenses so that they can come off easy in the future after a few years if I ever need to replace the bulbs. These lights are really good the only thing is when you screw The lens back on make sure you screw the lens on straight or it will hang up and hard to get off. The lens part is not made that good.

Installed 8 of these up/down lights along a brick garden wall by our pool. The lights have functioned well for the last 6 months. So far so good. My only two concerns are: 1. They have to be installed (or bulbs changed) within really dry days. If there is ANY humidity (not precipitation) in the air, and you close the top and bottom caps, you will get condensation droplets inside the glass covers. There is no way for any moisture to escape or water to weep out the bottom. If installed in nice dry weather, all seems good. 2. The threading on the top and bottom caps (glass covers) is VERY prone to cross threading. Three of the eight I installed came cross threaded from the factory. One of them took me about two hours to loosen. It is milk here easier if you take the lens caps off before installing. Normally (for the price) I would have just pulled that one off, trashed it, and bought another. We had a party planned for the next day, so I fought with it until winning. Overall, seems like a decent light, and looks nice at night, but be ready to STRUGGLE with the threading. ... show more
