I've had this scooter a month now, but I waited to write a review until I went on vacation. First of all, before I purchased the scooter, I emailed the manufacturer with questions I had. They emailed me back quickly and thoroughly. Before my trip, I took the scooter up my driveway, which has a 14% incline. Although the scooter whined a little at the steepest incline, it handled it well. I also removed the batteries and tried to put it in the back of my Tiguan. I was able to lift it and put it in the back with no problem. I would have a problem with the batteries in, but since they are so easy to remove, I don't consider this a problem. I took the scooter on a road trip first to the Smithsonian then to Raleigh then to Ripley's Aquarium in North Myrtle Beach, SC. In Washington, D.C., the scooter handled gravel as well as pavement and even some rain. It handled the museum easily. The same performance was experienced in Raleigh. In the Aquarium, I had some trouble maneuvering due to extraordinary crowds. As I become more adept using the scooter, I hope this won't be a problem for me. The first battery only lasted a little more than 5 hours, but I kept turning it off and on, so that may have affected it. With the two batteries, the scooter could probably go between 11 and 12 hours. If I take it to Disney World, I'll take the charging cord with me. Coming home, I went by plane from Myrtle Beach airport. I watched a video on-line beforehand, so I knew what to expect. Although I didn't check a bag, I went to the desk when I arrived at the airport to have the scooter checked. The person at the desk had to filled out a form and check the scooter for any damage. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Keep in mind that Myrtle Beach airport is a small airport. I have no idea how long the process would take if I were checking in at Newark or Chicago. Everyone was wonderful. I have TSA pre-check, so security went well. I had to get off the scooter and go through a metal detector. The TSA agent checked over the scooter. No problems. I rode right to the door of the plane, removed the batteries, folded the scooter, and boarded. It helped that I had a battery case ready, so the batteries didn't have to go in my carry-on. I'm only 5'1" and the scooter was comfortable enough for me. I would think someone taller or with longer legs might be a little cramped keeping the knees at a 90-degree angle. I could stretch out over the edge. I also put a cup holder on the handlebar which stayed on when on the plane. A USB charging port would also be nice. I carried a portable USB power pack. Overall, I'm glad I bought this scooter.

This scooter has changed my life. We spent three weeks in Paris and London, and it took me along whilke my companions walked fifteen miles a day. It is comfortable, reliable, has a long-lasting battery. I getg up and walk a bit and someone else drives--but then I am glad to be able to tootle around while seated. When I am home, it takes me to the zoo, museum, walk around the lake, and more. I am so grateful.

Unit shipped assembled, requiring placing the seat cushion on the velcro straps. Unit is so easy to transport. Remove the two (269WH) 3.9 lb (ea) batteries (if desired or required), pull up the lever under the seat to collapse, push the lever on the column to lower the steering and secure down the attached to frame velcro strap. The scooter weight is as advertised at 36.4 lbs without batteries and detachable collapsible (1.2 lb) basket. So easy to lift up and put it into the back of our RAV4. Unit collapses down to just under 18" high! Request a copy of the MSDS, check with your airline and you are ready to fly!!!

I bought this to go to Europe in March/April 2025. My previous one was great but it weighed 130lbs. with batteries. I’ve flown with it before and it’s passed airline requirements but the tour I was going on had a max weight of 50lbs. I bought this because it folds up easily and only weighs 34lbs. without batteries. But the 2 lithium batteries are only 4lbs. each. I was required to carry them with me on the plane (lithium can’t be down in cargo). Plan for that when you fly by having a case or sturdy bag to carry them. The info says it is all terrain (except cobblestone) and part of the trip was in Rome! Well, I road in on the cobblestone roads and it seems to have survived it. It wasn’t comfortable, and I was somewhat sore after doing that, but it got me around. Just watch for missing cobbles or you may damage a wheel or take a tumble. I wasn’t thrilled with the battery life, though. Supposed to get “up to 24 miles” but I’ve found that probably depends on terrain. You MIGHT get that if you drive it on perfectly flat surfaces with no load on the motor, but even crossing local streets where cross streets cause a hump in the road puts some resistance on the batteries. It’s also not as comfortable as my old scooter, but it works for me. I have very low energy and walking a couple blocks wears me out for hours, so I use it when I go to the San Diego Zoo, or anything where a lot of walking is required. Not so much for shopping, though. The basket is too small to hold much of anything. When I shop (grocery stores, big box stores, etc.) I try to get one of the stores mobility carts. Their baskets are awesome! On the old scooter, I bought a separate bigger basket but it went on the back of the scooter instead of the front. Since it stuck out behind the scooter and hit products on shelves and knocked them off! This scooter also doesn’t have a great turning ratio. My old one (and the ones in stores) could turn on a dime! This one needs more space to make a turn. But it sure does open and close great! Just pull a lever and push down on the seat and it collapses. Then squeeze the lever on the steering shaft and fold it down, as well. This part requires a little more effort to close but loosens up a bit over time. Then just reverse the process and you’re ready to go! Charges in a decent amount of time. My old scooter came apart in 5 pieces and it had a bit of a learning curve to remember the steps. The old one had a sturdier feel to it but was also over 50lbs. heavier!

We are very happy with the scooter! Works well and my husband who is 6ft is comfortable in it. The scooter is light enough that my husband can put it in the car. We also want to compliment the service by the seller. We called because we lost the charger and they are sending us a brand new one no charge since we have the warranty. They were very nice and attentive to our needs! We recommend this product highly!
