    • You are using it wrong!
I have had my coleman grill for years, and love it. I have been wanting a griddle for a while, but didnt want to purchase a blackstone when I already have a great grill. First I bought the coleman ceramic coated griddle add ons, but they were still 2 peice. I found I never used them because of the center seam. Then I found this one peice griddle. I read all the negative reviews about it sitting too high, the wind getting under it, you cant shut the lid, etc. I still wanted to give it a try! First off, everyone is using it WRONG! They are putting the griddle ontop of the grease catch trays. You dont need to catch grease with a griddle. Remove them and it will sit right down inside the grill, with no gaps for wind! The lid WILL close, but doesnt really want to latch closed. I did it bit the griddle sticks inside the lid, and when you open it, it goes up with the lid. I jad to pry it out. It is possible. Very heavy and well made, even cooking, gets extremely hot for searing, and youcan cook eggs on the other side. I LOVE IT! only 4 stars because of latching. ... show more

I do have to rotate it to have it fit closed for transport. Retains heat.

    • Not a perfect fit for Coleman roadtrip
The griddle was useful, but did not fit the Coleman roadtrip properly. There were cold spots and the lid of the grill would not fully close.
