I've now had this espresso maker for eight months. I often use it every day; on average, certainly four-to-five times a week. I myself couldn't justify spending several hundred -- or many hundred -- dollars on an espresso machine, so I looked at "low end" machines. (I previously had a very simple DeLonghi, the cheapest one they had, and it finally died.) For the money, I've found this Mixpresso to be a very good espresso maker. And I definitely like the look of it. Red is my kitchen accent color amidst a lot of white, black, gray and stainless steel. Yes, it does sometimes leave a but of water behind in the espresso grounds: that happens when the cup is slightly over-filled, or when the espresso is very finely ground. But I don't find it to be a serious problem at all. The machine makes good espresso with lots of crema. The milk frother works fine too. I also like that you can get virtually instant hot water from this machine, if you want/need it (say, for a cup of tea). But also I use it when I make regular coffee, which is sometimes it's too strong for my husband. So I turn on the Mixpresso, put the water/frother wand into his cup and turn it the knob to "hot water" -- and immediately I get very hot water, as much or as little as I want. Then I pour coffee into his cup, and and it's exactly the strength he likes it. No having to bother to heat a kettle or put it in the microwave. I also like the large water reservoir. You DO have to be careful that you don't run it dry. If you do, you'll have to re-prime it to get it working again (there are instructions for that). But once you know not to do that, it's not really an issue. For the price I think this is a very good machine. I'm glad I have it.

My son bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She used to have a very high dollar fancy one in college but sold it and regretted it due to how expensive it actually was. She recently moved into a smaller place and had to be creative with her kitchen. But she really wanted a new expresso machine. This one is very compact , saves spaces , does everything her previous fancy did , and was 5 times cheaper. Very easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited about this. I’m a barista and wanted a machine at home. It doesn’t come with espresso glasses or a milk pitcher (just a warning) i had a pitcher from my last machine i’m using though. It’s honestly not a bad price just for the machine, it’s pretty, seems decently made too. It is loud brewing the espresso but as you can see, the espresso was gorgeous. The milk wand i had issues with but when you’re done using it just turn it to coffee and it’ll stop. I’ll practice and learn more with using. I’m hoping this will last a long time! if i’m able to edit after submitting the review in a few months time i will update. If it’s like may I haven’t tho, well i can’t but i hope it’s still going good lol!

I bought this espresso for my daughter, and it is very disappointing. Getting the water dispenser out of the machine, to get the top off to fill with water. Then you have to put the coffee grounds in the coffee holder not to the top but 1/4” from the top. Putting the dispenser onto the mount is difficult also. I would not recommend this espresso machine.

I had expensive one and I have cheap one so far for the price less then a hundred dollars this has been ok. It works just fine I get expresso with frothy milk and hot water. Haven’t had an issues with it but it’s new. If it takes a dive it will go over the side but so far it’s working out standing 👍🏻

My morning espresso is important to me. I wanted something simple to use and easy to clean. This was it. It was easy to set up and really easy to use first thing in the morning when you are not quite awake and fully thinking. I’ve had it for several months now and I love it. I have friends that have bigger and fancier machines, and they all seem to have trouble of one kind or another (usually the thing you put the espresso grinds in gets stuck in the machine). Not this one. It’s simple and has held up to 3 espressos a morning for a few months now. (My girls are hooked now too). I read the reviews and took a chance and now I’m in love with my little machine.

I started on a cheap espresso machine and 6 months later I purchased this one. I have read quite a few reviews stating that people don’t like the frothing wand. My first attempt I had a big mess! The secret is to have a towel under it when you first turn it on because it will spit out a lot of water, when frothing make sure to have the wand in the milk as deep as you can, unlike many others where you just want the tip of the wand in the milk. I use a thermometer and when the temperature on the thermometer is rising quickly you have the wand in correctly. I love that making a cup of coffee is fast and easy. I also love that I can make two cups of coffee at the same time, it saves time and effort.

The crema is weak. The heat is lower than I'm used to. The mugs you must use must be super short, a standard mug will not work. It's a great back up. It does make a ok espresso shot but not the best. I mean it's under 100.00
