Previously, I had purchased a set of 4 of these plugs and needed more so I bought this set of 2. With the previous 4, because my 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz networks have the same SSID, I had to disable the 5 GHz network to set up the plugs. For some reason, I didn't have to do that this time. Setup was very easy. I was able to use my existing Gosund app to add it to my wi-fi network. Then, I set up routines in Alexa to turn it on at Sunset, and off at a fixed time. I also tested voice control with Alexa and it worked as expected to turn the switch on and off via voice command. These Wi-Fi plugs are a great value, and I highly recommend them. ... show more

App is broken and will not allow me to log in. Cannot log into Gosund app to set up the smart plug so it’s a brick. US is not listed in the app as an available location.

Was not able to get it to pair and work with Alexa. Did not realize this only works on 2.4mhz until I unpacked it and read the instructions. Was not able to get it to pair and work with Alexa App. Switched my iphone to 2.4 and still could not get the plugs to connect. Got as far as the Gosund App discovering the plug, but would not add it. Wasted better part of day on this. Bought the Amazon Plug and it connected automatically. ... show more

I found out unfortunately it does not work as a widget in the smart life app. So I will be returning. I shouldn’t have to open the app every time I want to turn on or off a switch.
