Possibly the finest productivity tool I have ever owned. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I have a large amount of tree covered landscape to maintain and I used to do this with awkward arm powered loppers requiring both arms and a lot of physical effort. For larger branches I was relegated to my heavy two handed chainsaw. This tool has cut my effort to a fraction. Unlike a normal chainsaw, I can use this tool safely while up an extension ladder. It has given me an extended reach not possible before to prune branches not possible previously. It has excellent power and I have cut 4 inch diameter branches quickly. The ergonomics are excellent. The only feature missing is an additional safely interlock button on the opposite side for left handed operation. This tool would be a bargain at twice the price. Two bar lengths and a two chains for each is a bonus. Perfect tool for me having numerous DeWalt tools and batteries of all sizes. I am not a big strong person at 130 pounds and I find this tool to be very lightweight for use by someone of any size. Since this is a one handed chainsaw, I take safely extra seriously and stay aware of where my left arm and hand are at all times, and I don't get in a hurry. Even my several expensive DeWalt tools don't have a battery level indicator.

So far so good. I tried a different brand and liked but the adjustment knob broke. Got this new one mainly because of the reviews and the adjustment mechanism looked better, and it is better. The build quality seems good, it's bit heavier that the previous one which gives me a little more confidence in the quality, it's a stronger motor and it cuts really well. It's surprisingly strong. I like that it comes with two sets of bar and chains. Great for trimming branches and small diameter trees. Using the 6 inch bar and chain it easily cuts 4-5 inch branches. So light and easy to maneuver. Electric so it quiet and less messy. Seems durable, but time will tell. I live in the country and have used a lot of chainsaw. I like having this one, small, highly portable, and surprisingly capable. Like it so far.

This little saw helped me out a lot, I was able to cut up to four 8 inch branches that were over 8 feet long into fireplace size logs and the battery lasted. The only reason for 4 stars is the oil runs out fairly quickly, other than that this is a very handy chainsaw for cutting and trimming of small unwanted branches!
