cut easy and fast. i use it for cutting the small branches which my chain saw doesn't cut well. cut 2-inch diameter and smaller with easy. light weight and easily moveable to get at those small branches off the side of the branches. great saw for a cheap price. i use a squeeze bottle with bar oil to oil the chain before and after use. if using a lot recommend putting a little bit of oil on the chain. happy with this purchase. not sure about the longevity yet, but it's a perfect add on to my gas chain saw. beats sawing by hand. ... show more

Update: 10/10/2022 I am very pleased with my chainsaw. As stated before, once chain is secure it works very well on small jobs. Highly recommend the purchase. Putting this together was not a hard task. I do have to say, the small screw in the picture is very important. That screw helps to tighten then chain. For me, I needed to take off the guard, move the screw, and then attach the chain. It was difficult to tighten then chain while it was in place. Once that was done, the chain started in place. Wasn’t expecting this to be able to do anything other than saw through twigs _ wrong!! It’s pretty amazing and cuts really well. Have used on tree branches and even cut a nice round of wood from a stump. For the size and price it’s a great handy little tool to have

    • Will not cut anything!
This tool will not cut anything! I tried to cut a small limb and it would barely make a dent in the wood. So I tried to cut a dead limb that had been on the ground for a long time and this tool would not cut it either. I returned this saw.

I am 74 yrs old. Ordered the small saw for simple jobs, but I thought it came already set up. I did not know I had to put the chain on. I tried several time but could not do it. So now I have to pay a handy man to do this for me.

    • Small but very useful
Used to cut down a tree. It was perfect. Small but mighty. Needed something quick to cut down a tree growing out into the alley. Came pretty fast and I avoided paying a fine to the government. Did the job in just under 2 hours. Battery lasted for at least 2 hours.

    • For Cutting Christmas Tree Once a Year
I bought this mini chainisaw for cutting Christmas tree at the farm once a year. I have not used it yet. But it looks more than enough for what I need. The build quality is mediocre at best. For the price I paid that is expected. I am happy with the purchase.

    • Gets the job done.
I used this to trim tree limbs up to about 2". I believe it can cut larger, but haven't found any to try. I did have a problem with the chainsaw and contacted the company. They quickly offered to send me a replacement. Highly recommend buying.
