The media could not be loaded. By simply slicing through the wood with its 6-inch chain saw, the work was completed in a concise and effective manner. I was able to walk about the yard without being restricted by cords or the weight that is associated with standard chainsaws since this little chainsaw is capable of being carried around easily. It is a nice touch, in my opinion, that there are two rechargeable batteries with a voltage of 21V included. In addition to the fact that the batteries supplied sufficient power for my cutting requirements, the fact that I was able to have a spare on hand means that I was able to work on more extensive tasks without interference. It is not need to change the battery on a regular basis since the device is rechargeable, which adds to the convenience. It is my opinion that the tiny chainsaw's ergonomic design is one of its most notable characteristics. This product is simple to use due to its lightweight design and soft grip, which helps to reduce fatigue even when used for lengthy periods of time. Its small size also enables precision control, which makes it an excellent tool for doing complex tasks like as shaping branches and trimming branches.

We disliked the product due to using the saw on small strubbery, thin branches but the chain continued to jump off track. It became frustrating because we had just purchased and read reviews which we believed would benefit our family with small task around the house. Sadly we are disappointed but will be keeping in hopes to use someday.🫶🏽

Chain stop working on my first use

I live in an urban environment so I don't have much use for a large chainsaw. However, I have use for a small one like this for two things - community garden maintenance and cutting down overly-long firewood. My condo community has a nature-style community garden area. Think more small dog park with a few garden beds than your normal community garden. A couple times a year we, the community of resident owners, need to get out there and clear it out of overgrowth and saplings. A small chainsaw comes in handy for saplings and branches that are too big for loppers. But, also, I have a Solo Stove and if you have one or one like it you know that the firewood you place in it should fit neatly below the jet line in order to efficiently make use of the design of the fire pit. Most firewood you buy in packs come in about the right size. But if you buy it from a "firewood guy" by the truckload, like my boyfriend does, then you get a big variety of sizes/lengths. It's a cheaper way to buy firewood. And with this saw, I can cut the pieces down when I need to. And it does so with complete ease! I use the cut-off pieces as kindling since they become very easy to split, if not splitting when sawed off. This chainsaw will even cut through the thicker pieces and even cut length-wise/stringer. It's nice that it comes in a case with two batteries and a charger. It is 21V, not 20V. I am wary that I would be able to replace the batteries when they give out. I haven't sourced that yet other than a cursory search. There are many that are 21V and also many that do look similar. But, with a no-name knock-off brand like this you can't be sure until you pull the plug and try. I also wonder if there are compatible 20V batteries, since that is a more common size. Regardless, for an inexpensive unknown brand this little chainsaw fits my needs and is decently competitively priced. I'm more than happy to recommend this for light garden and firewood use!

UPDATE 6/2024: I've been using the Xistisy Mini Chainsaw so a while now and have found it great for smaller jobs. My older hands appreciate that I'm not torturing them with a hand saw. I did run into an issue though. I noticed on one of my batteries that something was rattling around inside the battery casing. The other battery was silent. I normally don't open up battery cases, but wanted to get a look at what was going on. What I found was two components on the circuit board had come loose and were rattling around inside the case (see photo.) That's not something I expected to see after only a few uses. Having some experience, I soldered the two regulator diodes (I believe that's what they are) back into place and the battery seems to be performing as it should. I've dropped my review a further star because of this. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Picked up this Xistisy Mini Chainsaw to use around the yard. It's a nice little saw, but you will have a lot of other options at this price point. The Xistisy comes nicely packaged in a carrying case that includes the saw, two batteries, a charger, an extra chain, a screwdriver, a little bottle for chain oil (oil not included), a pair of gloves and safety goggles. The package also includes a folded piece of paper that says "Operation Instructions" but is genuinely just generic safety warnings and badly written at that. They do tell you that the battery is fully charged when the light on the AC adapter turns from red to green. But then they go on to say "install the chain according to the operation drawing" for which there is no drawing. If you've used a chainsaw before, you'll be able to figure this one out easy enough, but the crummy instructions immediately took a star away from my rating. In use, the Xistisy worked well. You can see some of the branches I cut up in the photos - too big for a pair of loppers and too small to pull out the big saw. But just right for this saw. I did find the screw that moves the guide bar in and out to adjust the chain tension a little finicky as it tends to grab the plastic shell that holds it in place instead of moving smoothly in and out. The included screwdriver fits the adjustment screw, but would have been more useful if it were a few inches longer. I grabbed a long screwdriver from my toolbox instead. Still, even as delivered, the Xistisy Mini Chainsaw will likely be one of my go to yard tools for small brush cleanup and basic pruning. Just need to make sure the proprietary battery is charged up when I need it.
