I thought I was buying a little toy, but this little chainsaw is amazing in its power and efficiency. The only concern I had with it was that the battery charger light would continually stay red but the indicators on the batteries indicated they were fully charged. I was reluctant to leave the battery on the charger for too long. I called Amazon about this, and they put me in touch with the chainsaw company. The company was very prompt and courteous and told me that new batteries may have to stay on the charger for up to five hours before the light turns green indicating a full charge. I plugged the batteries back on the charger and, after about an hour and 45 minutes, the light turned green. The instructions don't tell you everything. If you find a loose black rubber band, it's the o-ring gasket. Check the other reviews to see where it goes or else you'll have an oil leak. I am very pleased with both the chainsaw and the responses from both Amazon and the company.

It is a great little saw. Used it today for cutting mesquite branches 1” up to 4”. Yes, like most saws - chain tightening every so often. LED % monitor a little perk. Safety glasses broke at the arm swivel point when putting them on! I did notice the side frame arms do adjust in & out. They are CHEAP! As far as the cheap gloves, I wore them for added grip (beaded part in palms) - they ARE NOT for any kind of “safety” wear. The little oil bottle did have clear BAR oil ( pre - lube) and is not meant for filling the main reservoir. Use standard 30W oil. Battery packs felt very light weight and like some have commented are somewhat hard to slide on & off. I put some white grease on the tracks & maybe over time it will slide easier. Price is well suited for the “ medium quality” of this saw. Designing it to be inexpensive & light weight means cheaper materials & standards. It did perform - now for the test of time? PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT IS IN THE KIT as the main pic can be confusing as you only get 2 chains (1 xtra- 1 installed), 2 batteries, ONE chain bar installed. Pic makes it appear as if there is 1 extra. The what’s in the box listing clarifies.

For 1/3 of the price of the big brands for sale at Home Depot and Lowe's, you receive a complete package including 2 batteries, a charger, 3 chains, 2 bars and even cheap safety goggles and gloves. While it is lightweight, it still handles the job. I took care of a medium pine tree that got uprooted in about 30 minutes, even considering the time it took for the various branches. Battery charge seems to hold well, I used 30% of battery for this initial job. I highly recommend it

This is an excellent chain saw, especially for the price...... It is very easy to assemble, very easy to use, the gloves and safety glasses that come with it are trash,,,,,,,,but the saw , the bar, and chains are great quality! The saw cuts through 3 to 4 inch branches or tree trunks with ease . I cleared about 26 or so young locust trees from my property and probably 30 more small types of trees and bushes from my property fence line . This saw is a work horse. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a small hand chain saw. Also worked really well on quarting my deer.

Received my mini chainsaw today and I was excited to cut up some limbs in the yard. Unfortunately there were not enough cutting teeth for small 1-2 inch limbs. It would jump, skip and bounce on small limbs even if I held the limb still with my other hand. The dangerous part is as follows: the battery fits way too tight and the chain rotates (mini saw turns on) with insertion of the battery. I was not touching the button on the side and I was not pulling the trigger. This went on for several minutes and the only way I could stop it was to pull the battery. It was very unsafe to have the chain turning at high speed while trying to grip this mini saw and struggling to pull the battery. Yes, I did press the battery release tab to remove it. Since this happened numerous times, I do not trust this chainsaw.

Worked great for the first 3 days and on the fourth day both batteries busted and no longer work in it so waste a 100 bucks if you can get everything done in 3 days but the fourth day its over
