I'd always thought using a chainsaw would be complicated, but I decided to try this 12-inch mini chainsaw to keep my yard tidy. From the first time I used it, I was amazed at how light and manageable it is; I could hold it with one hand without feeling like I was losing control. The brushless motor makes all the difference: it cuts powerfully and smoothly, effortlessly, and the best part is that it doesn't feel like wearing down the typical wear and tear of older tools. Plus, the rechargeable battery lasted long enough to finish pruning several thick branches without having to stop mid-job, something I really appreciate. Another thing that gave me peace of mind was the safety system. It won't start unless you press both buttons at the same time, and that allowed me to use it with confidence, even knowing my kids were nearby playing in the yard. And as if that weren't enough, the automatic oiler keeps the chain ready at all times, so I didn't have to worry about stopping to lubricate it. Today, instead of hiring someone to maintain the garden, I do it myself, quickly and safely. This little chainsaw has become my perfect ally in keeping the space clean and tidy.

Received my mini chainsaw today and I was excited to cut up some limbs in the yard. Unfortunately there were not enough cutting teeth for small 1-2 inch limbs. It would jump, skip and bounce on small limbs even if I held the limb still with my other hand. The dangerous part is as follows: the battery fits way too tight and the chain rotates (mini saw turns on) with insertion of the battery. I was not touching the button on the side and I was not pulling the trigger. This went on for several minutes and the only way I could stop it was to pull the battery. It was very unsafe to have the chain turning at high speed while trying to grip this mini saw and struggling to pull the battery. Yes, I did press the battery release tab to remove it. Since this happened numerous times, I do not trust this chainsaw.
