I bought the Equinox 800 and am very happy with it. That said, I didn't really check out any other detectors but after I received it and watching more Youtube videos, I wonder if the 600 is just as good minus a couple of features and I could have saved some money. But I'm very happy with the 800. Took it out the same day it came in after charging it up and found 2 shotgun shell bottoms that are nearly 100 years old in my back yard!
