After doing lots of research, I purchased this detector for my 15 year son to use on our trips to the beach. We only used factory settings on our first outing and targeted some typical beach trash but found coins, jewelry, and a toy truck. Been using for about a month, and it's been a blast. Primarily bought for exercise, given my sedentary day job. Found about a cup of change (clad) so far. At this rate the change will pay for the machine in about 3yrs :) Also ...A 1911 penny, 1919 penny, 1927 Japanese 50 Sen, Mercury Dime, various 1940-1960's coins, a 1800's button, and lots of square nails! Doesn't sound like much, but it's a learning process, and with all the digging, I'm getting my 'guns' back ┏( -_-)┓ ... show more
