  • Excellent quality, perfect for the Glamper!
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
Florida Cub Scout parents here and we got tired of taking multiple blankets to feel comfortable, this absolutely replaced all of them. It’s plush and comfortable, warm enough for our cool nights in the winter here and not too hot in the fall and spring. (We don’t camp in the summer heat) We slept like babies. As for how big it is, we aren’t super tall but I will say the sleeping bag was about a foot extended past our inflatable mattress so it would work for those that are on the taller side for sure. And it fully unzips so that it can be washed one piece at a time in a standard washing machine and then rezipped back together. The storage bag however is not big enough. The very first use we could hardly get it out of the bag and we knew better than to even attempt to put it back in it 😂 If you are a Glamper that usually brings sheets and multiple blankets or a comforter when camping then this is for you it won’t take up anymore storage space than all that stuff would have but it is just a one and done piece to make packing easier and Sleep Great! It really slept like a dream paired with our Hikenture extra thick double self inflating mattress pad with inner foam for added comfort. Check it out below, totally worth the cost, doesn’t get cold like a regular air mattress and doesn’t deflate in the middle of the night. Plus my partner and I both could roll over and not disturb the other person. An added plus! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09M317LDR?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title ... show more

  • Best Bag for a Big Man! Or Woman!
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
Probably the best quality, warmest (0 degree), most comfortable, easy-to-unzip sleeping bag I have ever had. Granted, I have only used it in my room - it's June in South Texas so this isn't going to see real use until Big Bend in December with 20-30f night temps. The stitching is clearly solid, the zippers are heavy duty, and the bag is very dense. Not the lightest bag, but I am not summiting Everest, I am camping. I am only 6' even but I like to sprawl when I sleep. I always hated sleeping bags. I used to buy two of the same bag and zip them together because I felt constricted. This is the bag for bigger/taller men and women and will provide both ample warmth and plenty of room. CAVEAT EMPTOR: this sleeping bag is nearly, and I mean literally nearly impossible to get back into the compression sack. I advise purchasing a larger storage case. For this annoyance, I would give 4.7 stars. ... show more

  • Warm, and not impossible to repack
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
I am writing this review based on a product that I received an hour ago. However, I used to own this sleeping bag several years back. Assuming the quality has not changed, I feel qualified to write this review. I'll get a chance to re-evaluate the quality next weekend so if that has gone down since my last experience, I will make sure to adjust my rating and review. First of all, this sleeping bag is not impossible to repack, as long as you use the right technique. Once you unroll this from the sleeve the first time, my experience is that it will never go back into the sleeve in the same way. Forget about rolling it up and then trying to fit it in - it can't be done. First, make sure the four straps along the side of the bag are all the way open so that there is no remaining slack in the straps. Then just kind of fold the sleeping bag once or twice length-wise, and start stuffing that monster in, feet-end first. At first you'll think you will never get it in there, but keep at it. Keep stuffing, one little piece at a time, and eventually you'll get there. Close the top as best as you can - it will probably have some remaining sleeping bag kind of hanging out but that's alright. Now, take the first of the four side straps in one hand, pull it down a little, and with your other hand take out some of the slack you created. Do this one strap at a time, and tighten them a little bit each time. I usually do this for two or three cycles meaning that I've tightened each of the straps two or three times but cycling through them like 1,2,3,4,1,2....etc. As you do this, you should also stuff in any remaining portion of the bag that was still hanging out and by the end of it you will have this thing repacked. It won't be as small as it used to be when you first received it. Those days are gone. But at least you will have it repacked and ready for transportation. As to it being warm; it's warm. I used this in temperatures around 32F and remember being really cozy. In comparison, I bought another 2-person sleeping bag rated for 20F last year and used it in 32F and I didn't sleep all night. My wife and I were freezing. It sucked. That's what prompted the purchase of this guy that I used to own - totally different experience. It's also very long. I am 6'5" and can stretch out in this thing. So yes, would totally recommend. Again, will re-evaluate the new product next weekend and adjust this review if needed. If you're reading this after 8/26 and it hasn't changed then either this is still an awesome sleeping bag, or something happened during our camping trip. Let's hope it's the former. ... show more

  • Great bag, compression sack is too small
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
Definitely warm. Recently took this out to Joshua Tree and Mohave. Kept my lady/self warm, very comfortable. 0 degrees is the extreme temp, it was in the 40s and we were toasty The reason I’m giving it a 4 star is the compression bag is too small. Getting it back in is a pain.

  • If you have the space, it's a warm one.
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
I bought this for my girlfriend and myself as we like to cuddle when camping and not use separate bags. We took it to Moab in early March (20-25 degrees at night) to sleep in my ARB roof top tent and it was much warmer than expected. We slept like we typically would at home. Takes a minute to heat up if it's just one person, but aside from that it actually far exceeded our expectations. Quality of materials looked to be awesome. It's not Patagonia or Mountain Hardware, but works great. The only downside is the size of it. Now mind you, this thing is the size of a queen size bed. It fits PERFECTLY in the rooftop tent when unrolled, but getting it in the bag perfectly is an art you will need to perfect. By day 2 it took me about 5 minutes to do on my own, so not too bad. I highly recommend this, we will likely get the lighter one as well for the summer! ... show more

  • Toasty and Comfy
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
Packed in a very nice drawstring carry bag that can be removed almost instantly. The outer shell is very slippery, which helps pack it back into the carry bag (much easier to get into carry bag than I expected, although it's still a bit of work), but can be a nuisance when climbing in and out of the sleeping bag because it doesn't stay put. Maybe they could add tie rings at the corners. Side zippers work well. There are small straps across each of the ends of the closed zippers to keep the zippers from opening. But once you open a zipper a little, it wants to go all the way. Longer back (for head) than front. I had the back over my head so I was almost cocooned. Would have been nice if it could be held that way, maybe with Velcro. Very comfortable. Used it 1 person in 0ºF (-18ºC) and it was toasty warm, except that, you know, it retains body heat to keep warm, and there's a lot less heat from feet and lower legs than from torso, so feet aren't as warm as torso. This was a problem at really low temperature, but a fleece blanket around feet and legs helped, of course. Socks didn't. Again, this was around 0ºF (-18ºC), which is much colder than freezing. Around freezing 32ºF (0ºC), even a little colder, even feet and legs were warm. Orange is highly reflective. Opened it in car and looked like lights inside car were on even in dark just from reflection of outside light, even just moonlight. Great if you want to be seen. ... show more

  • It's a whole lotta warm, dry bag.
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
It's Huge. It's Comfy. It's Warm. REALLY Warm. Try to use this for a casual woobie and you'll burn up. You'll be using it for true winterweight sleep gear, without feeling the need to sleep in a cramped, stifling mummy bag. Perfect for a couple of tosser-turners and foot wigglers. Keeps your back plenty warm and dry even when compressed underneath you w/o a sleeping pad. But don't expect to carry it anywhere, it's the size of an Army duffel bag when loaded, and weighs a ton. Currently using it with a Truck Bed Tent and Air Mattress, as intended, so no, it's not for portabilty. Surprisingly water resistant. Don't le the picture fool you, the exterior shell isn't the usual thin, silky, easily permeable material. It's a stout, water shedding material that would give a Gore-Tex bivy cover a run for it's money. Had a small waterfall from the rainfly pour right onto it when my kids unzipped my tent, and it shed all that H2O like a duck. For all you get, worth the price as a bedding replacement for your trailer or large campground tent. ... show more

  • Not for mid day napping
Color: Orange Size: Mammoth 0F
This is by far the warmest sleeping bag I have ever experienced. I am the type of person that is ALWAYS cold and constantly wakes up while camping. I usually bring a one person sleeping bag, and about three blankets to line the inside with because THATS how cold I am. My partner convinced me to not bring blankets as we didn’t have any room, and because he bought this sleeping bag with my temperature regulation problems in mind. I was skeptical to the point of preconceived ideas, however, there is no denying that this sleeping bag is pure quality. The opening is weighted so that it closes the gaps, not allowing the cold night air inside. It’s ACTUALLY wide about for two people to sleep comfortably, and it is WARM. I mean like real warm. Like napping with a sunburn warm. We camped for five nights and I slept like a corpse through every night, which I can’t normally even do at home in my bed. If you’re wondering if this sleeping bag is worth the money, IT IS. But if you’re a napping camper, I’d suggest a backup that’s less warm because I tried to nap in this sleeping bag and I think I sweat out water I drank in 4th grade. I am 22. Buy the sleeping bag. ... show more
