  • Great
works great powering ice auger attachment. drills enough holes to hop around fishing all day; 30 or more with same battery charge.

  • Powerful tool.
This is an amazing tool. I am not a pro. Just a homeowner with the occasional need of drilling a hole into a wall. It is light weight, incredibly powerful (you won't miss your corded drill!). Used it for several shelving projects in the garage. Still on the first charge of the battery. And this set comes with 2 batteries! ... show more

  • Best drill on the market
I bought this for ice fishing. I haven’t used it for that yet, but I’ve used it around the house. Thing has some power and it’s well built. My only complaint is the price.

  • Hard to beat Milwaukee tools
If you need a drill with great torque and long run time choosing Milwaukee should be on the list. If you only occasionally need a drill for light duty use, then a cheap H.F. drill will suffice. Just don't expect the same battery life or quality. I use this drill frequently from standard drilling to grinding and attaching a drill operated ice auger. It will twist your arms/wrists if not careful. I used a Walmart brand drill on the ice auger, it lasted for about 3" of ice before the gear box crapped out. The Milwaukee will drill all day long and not break a sweat. It is a hefty drill which I consider to be a sign of quality. ... show more

  • Power Yes! But clutch!?!
This drill is very power full however the clutch is a brute! The first 5 settings on the clutch for screws is nonexistent! It is an electronic clutch system. The clutch starts to show various depth of the screws, if the screws start at 2-1/2" to 3"! Now the clutch will start to do some function at the first 1-5 settings on screw option. The longer the screw the more effective the clutch becomes! And those depths change depending on the hardness of the wood or material! However you can still use this drill on soft material but not as intended like the old school mechanical clutch settings 1-5! The trick is getting use to the trigger with a light pull and the clutch set at 1 and in screw option; not that it makes much difference where the clutch is with this trick! Trick: Clutch on 1 and screw option set! Gently position screw and drill on soft wood! Gently pull the trigger 1-3mm with lightest pressure and when the screw comes flush the driver or bit or phillips or flat head pops off the head of the screw! This is not to be confused with stripping the head because the bit/tool you are using will come off with no damage to the screw or the soft wood! ... show more
