    • Great Compact Rotary Hammer for Tough Jobs
Great Compact Rotary Hammer for Tough Jobs I’ve been very impressed with this DEWALT 20V MAX SDS Plus Rotary Hammer. It’s compact, lightweight, and surprisingly powerful for its size. It drills through concrete and masonry with ease, and the brushless motor provides excellent performance while helping extend battery life. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use, even during longer projects, and the side handle offers great control and stability. I also like that it’s cordless, which makes working in tight spaces or away from outlets much more convenient. Keep in mind that this is the tool-only version, so you’ll need to already own a compatible 20V MAX battery and charger. If you’re already invested in the DEWALT system, this is an excellent addition to your collection. Overall, it’s a durable, reliable, and high-quality rotary hammer that delivers professional-level performance. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Cordless BEAST! Beyond Capable—The Best Money I’ve Spent on a Tool
Let's not mince words: the DeWalt 20V MAX SDS+ Rotary Hammer (tool-only or kit) is a game-changer. I have used standard hammer drills for years, thinking they were "good enough." This tool proves that "good enough" is simply wasting time and effort. This rotary hammer is professional-grade power packed into a cordless form factor that is just phenomenal . Proof of Performance: It Kicked Ass on Brick I recently took on a big project building a porch and needed to anchor heavy support brackets directly into an old, tough brick foundation. This is usually a painstaking, vibration-heavy job. With the DeWalt SDS+ and a quality masonry bit, the process was lightning fast. I'm talking drilling perfect, clean holes into solid brick like it was soft wood. The entire mounting process, which I budgeted half a day for, was finished in less than an hour. The power delivery is controlled, yet relentless—it just chews through concrete, mortar, and brick effortlessly. 100% Worth the Investment Since that porch project, I've found a dozen reasons to pull this tool out. From setting concrete anchors for a new fence post to chipping away tile adhesive (using the chipping function), this tool handles it all. The cordless mobility is essential for jobsite use, and the vibration dampening is surprisingly good, meaning you can run it longer without hand fatigue. If you are a DIYer tackling serious masonry, or a professional looking for unmatched cordless drilling efficiency, this tool is 100% worth the price of admission. It performs well above its weight class and will make your toughest tasks feel ridiculously simple. Don't hesitate—buy this hammer. ... show more

    • Not bad
Using a 20 volt 6 hour battery, it cuts out under any load when you pull the trigger all the way. Other than that I like it.
