Once in a while the chipper would not work, but all you had to do was bump the chipping blade on the concrete a few times and the hammer would get back in sync and work until your arms and back gave out. Love this tool! I had a Makita corded version of this and it recently stopped working. I've been trying to switch everything over to cordless lately so I thought I would give this a try. It works better than the corded Makita it replaced. Love the freedom of no cord too. I almost exclusively use this to chisel tile off of floors and it works great for repair jobs. I am a Licensed Plumbing Contractor and I recently purchased the Milwaukee 1 1/8" Fuel Hammer Drill as I replace all the existing cordless power tools in my toolbox manufactured by one of Milwaukee's competitors. I had the chance to use this Hammer Drill yesterday for the first time, breaking up a small amount of concrete and drilling several holes. The Milwaukee performed great and it was so nice to not need to stretch out extension cords to get power to the tool. I simply got the drill from the truck, loaded the necessary bit and went to work.
