    • A great heavy duty drill for concrete and rock probing.

I bought this drill last year so I could probe for rocks before trying to drive steel t-posts 2 feet deep. It works well for that and can hammer through sediment and sandstone well enough to be able to drive posts manually. After I bought this, my M-I-L told me the threshold of her basement door needed to be replaced. I checked it out and their builder didn't attach the threshold to the concrete floor, it held loosely in place with staplesgoing into the sides of the door frame. I used a shop vac on tbe floor to control tbe concrete dust, drilled 1/4 inch pilot holes through the threshold and into tbe concrete, then 1/2 holes directly into the concrete to hold barrel type bolt anchors. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and this drill, with good masonry bits, goes through concrete as easily as my 18v DeWalt drills through pine - seriously, it's that good! ... show more

I’m kicking myself in the rear for not buying this earlier, what a game changer!! One wall of my house is 14” pored concrete and I needed two 1-1/2 holes drilled. This drill ate through that with no problem in 10min. Have wore out two heavy duty drills with a “Hamer mode” and my patience which I gained back thanks to this drill. With the correct bits this thing blasts thru concrete. Sds plus bits are the only drawback, I bought and had Hilti bits with 3 sides and this requires the dual slot type. Great portable and effective battery durability. I had many batteries and the tool came without one. It doesn't eat thru the battery though. Lo primero que destaca es su muy buena potencia. A pesar de ser un equipo relativamente compacto, tiene la capacidad de perforar materiales duros con facilidad, manteniendo un rendimiento constante y confiable. La fuerza de impacto es notable, lo que permite avanzar rápido en perforaciones sin tener que aplicar presión excesiva. Otro punto fuerte es su función de cincelado, que amplía bastante su rango de uso. No solo sirve para perforar, sino también para trabajos de remoción o ajustes en superficies, lo que la convierte en una herramienta muy versátil para obra y mantenimiento. En cuanto a ergonomía, sorprende que sea compacta y relativamente liviana para la potencia que ofrece. Esto facilita su manejo en espacios reducidos y reduce la fatiga en jornadas prolongadas o en trabajos por encima del nivel del hombro.
