  • Where has this knife been all my life?
I purchased this knife on impulse after watching Christopher Kimball demonstrated on one of his “Milk Street“ videos. I am quite particular about my cutlery, never buying sets but only individual knives that I know will serve a purpose in my kitchen. This knife was a size and shape that I wasn’t sure would be useful, but it has certainly proved its worth and then some. I can’t say enough good things about the design of this knife. It has a full tang, the handle is ergonomic and quite comfortable even for my large hands, and the knurling on the blade makes it easy to grip. Although the blade is of modest thickness, it is quite rigid and does well with even moderately rigorous chopping tasks. I find that I use this for almost everything, slicing and chopping garlic, shallots, scallions, small onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, anll kinds of fruit, and the list goes on. It even does a surprisingly good job as a boning knife, easily removing the bones from chicken thighs and other meat. It comes with a good edge on it already, and I have yet to have the need to sharpen it. Given how well it has held its edge up until now, I expect good performance in the future. If I had to describe this compared to other knives, I would say it has the agility of a petty knife, and the easy clearance of a chef knife (my knuckles never hit the cutting board while dicing). There are tasks that are still better suited for a larger or smaller knife, but this one has so many uses I think it would make a great addition to any kitchen. ... show more

  • Fantastic multipurpose knife
This knife really is a great as the ads make it seem. Agile as a paring knife, sturdy and confident like a good chef’s knife. I use it all the time on veggies, frozen fruit, chocolate and cheese. It has held its edge well and still looks like new after six months of steady use.

  • Quite sharp!
More than a paring knife. Maybe slightly too big for a pairing knife but a great utility knife for many kitchen chores. Handle is comfortable. Overall looks well made. No complaints. Happy with the purchase.

  • Sturdy little knife
4 stars. It’s a handy knife, it’s like a mini chef knife and an sturdy prep knife. Minus 1 star since the blade is not very sharp. Overall good quality and price.

  • Great knife
This knife has been a wonderful addition to my meal prep items. It's a great size when I want to slice fruits, vegetables and surprisingly efficient when cutting meat. I frequently make soup. It's perfect!

  • Very sharp!
A great product, this is a professional chef’s tool. My new favorite knife in the block! Makes short work of all vegetables. I’m now thinking about getting the other knives in the collection. Keeps its edge now for over a month and I use it everyday.
