The media could not be loaded. I've had these knives for 3 years. I LOVE them! They are always kept sharp with the built-in sharpener. The German steal blades and handles are well balanced in my hand. This 17 piece set has the wide variety of knives I needed. I especially wanted the 8 5" steak knives. The 8" chef's knife cuts through LARGE potatoes like they are butter. The built-in sharpener is convenient, simple to use and safe. I was SO tired of having knives that wouldn't stay sharp and fit awkwardly in my hand. I would gladly buy these knives again. They are well worth the money. The question for you is... These knives are beautiful and very sharp. They slice through steak and tomatoes with little to no effort. Unbelievable value for the money, so easy to use, literally a knife for every purpose. Then of course there is a built in sharpener and the scissors come apart to sharpen them.

Go these knifes for my mother to retire here 15 year old set of knives. They are SUPER sharp and glide like butter through most things. Very nice set and not astronomically priced like others. Hopefully the sharpening set included will extend the life and sharpness of these for a long time!

Very sharp. They wash up beautifully. No dishwasher, so hand wash only. Nice weight to them and easy to use. I highly recommend them. I haven't had to use the sharpener yet.
