My stove has a zone temp gauge already on the side of it but I have a fan topside that requires a marked temp gauge to be sure that it doesn't reach overheat stage. I don't want to ruin a brand new heat activated fan so this little guy sits on top of the stove alongside it as required and now I always know what temperature my stove is operating at as well as making sure its not getting too hot for this new fan. I now know that a little over 450 degrees stove temp is safe for the little fan and the stove's catalytic burner to function at optimum levels. ... show more
