  • works good
Style: 223 5.56MM
bright light, easy on and off when the batteries are installed. slides in and out of gun same as a real round. Sighted in "units" so far and its worth the price to me.

  • Great for Sighting
Style: 9MM
This bore sight tool has truly left an indelible mark on my shooting experience, and I'm eager to elaborate on why it has become an indispensable part of my firearm maintenance and sighting routine: The versatility of this bore sight is simply outstanding. I've successfully used it to sight in more than eight different firearms equipped with red dot optics, and I even managed to dial in the accuracy of a 9mm rifle. The consistent precision it provides across such a wide range of firearms is a testament to its reliability. One remarkable feature that sets this bore sight apart is its incredible accuracy right out of the gate. After initial use and adjustment, I've found that my first shots at the range are consistently right on target. This not only saves time but also ammunition, as I no longer need to fire rounds to zero in my sights. It's a game-changer for any shooter looking to streamline their sighting process. In terms of battery life, it's fair to say that it performs adequately, especially considering the intense brightness it offers. The logic behind this design choice becomes apparent when you witness the sight's vividness. While the battery life may not be the longest, the trade-off for exceptional brightness is well worth it. In conclusion, this bore sight tool is nothing short of amazing. Its versatility, pinpoint accuracy, and time-saving capabilities make it a must-have for any shooter. The bright sight picture, although a factor in battery life, significantly enhances its overall usability. If you value precision and efficiency in your firearm sighting process, this bore sight tool should be a staple in your arsenal. ... show more

Bought this to zero a Meprolight Micro RDS red dot on my G19. Worked great and made the process very easy.

  • Pretty good unit
Style: 30-06/25-06/270 Cal
I bought this to help sight in my 1974 Remington 700 BDL 30.06. With ammunition between $1.50- $4.00 dollars per round, I felt I could save money using this boresight even after seeing many reviews with only one star rated. An $18 range fee is the same as this boresight cost. I received the unit yesterday and immediately checked to see if the laser worked. It did. Be careful unpackaging because the batteries are very small even for a 30.06. I dropped one and had trouble locating it. The correct way to install the batteries is engraved on the side of the laser. There is paper in the battery chamber. I pulled the paper out but the laser wouldn’t turn on, so I left one battery in, put the paper in, then the other two batteries, and voila! Now I have a working laser. Remove one battery so the unit is off until you use it as it does not have an on and off switch. I printed out a bulls eye target out on 8 ½ x 11 paper. The diameter of the outer circle was nearly 7”. I measured out 100 yds exactly at my place and built a rest for my gun and looked through the chamber with the bolt out until I could see the paper through it, and waited for dusk. At dusk, I put the batteries together to turn on the laser, and then chambered it into the rifle. You have to wiggle it to get it in the chamber since it does not have a point like a live round would. Be gentle with it. After getting the laser into the chamber, I gently pushed the bolt forward until I could lock it down. Then I looked through my 3.5-10x power Nikon Monarch UCC 50mm scope and the laser was within view at 10x, and actually was on that paper! I adjusted my scope until the red dot was centered on the bulls eye. I was amazed that I could see the red dot at 100 yds and it covered only about 2” of that target. I was thrilled! I ejected the laser like a real bullet. Be careful to catch it. I put it back in and did another adjusting of my scope as it was off over 7” down and to the right. I repeated this procedure turning the laser about 45 degrees each time and adjusting. Finally, it seemed to be pretty true each time I turned it. As light became limited, I found out that the laser was illuminating the bullseye! I could not see the bullseye without the laser on! I am at this point now. I will do the same adjusting tomorrow night to see if I get the same results. Then I will venture to shoot a round to see if this matches up. That is the true test and I will post my final results. ... show more

  • Best Boresighter!
Style: 30-06/25-06/270 Cal
Of all the boresighters I have used, the Mid-Ten is the simplest and most logical way to sight a scope. I've tried the type that attach to the muzzle, but they are very difficult to align correctly whether they are magnetic or collet. With the Mid-Ten, turn the laser on, chamber the device, set crosshairs to laser dot and done. Simply the easiest, most effective on the market. ... show more

  • The battery lify is terrible.
Style: 9MM
I had no chance to estimate a precision on the range, the battery become too weak during initial attempt to adjust this device at home. Price/quality ratio showed that it is not worth to buy it.
