This dash camera has high front camera resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixel (or 2.5k) and has rear camera resolution of 1080p. There is everything that you need to install this camera included in the box as pictured. The mechanism to attach camera is the suction cup which can securely attach to the windshield. I use some water to help secure this suction cup to the windshield and eliminate air pocket. The camera is well secured to the suction cup by adjusting the screw which is also allowing you to turn camera left/right/up/down to suit your preference. The package includes front and rear cameras, the suction and attachment of the camera to the windshield, all the cables including data cable and the 12V adapter, and a 64MB micro SD card and reader. The card can hold several days of footage and you do not need to worry if it is full since it will loop record and override old videos. The setup of the recording is quite simple (with the included manual) and does not require a re-setup once it is done. The camera has a large LCD view (3.2 inch to be exact), and I found that the picture is very clear during day time and night time. In the nigh time even in the dark I can see the picture clearly, which is a nice surprise. The picture quality of the video footage is very good. Since it has very high resolution (2.5k) I can read everything off and see every detail clearly. I can see license plate number of the car in front of me very well which is the reason why I want the dash camera. I like that the camera turns on and turns off automatically when I start and stop my car. It uses the power from the 12V lighter adapter connection so that's how it can tell when to automatically start and stop. The camera can also be used to take still picture (12MP resolution) if you need to but for me I solely use it for dash camera to record video of traffic footage. I do recommend this camera as it is very easy to setup, very convenient to use to record my daily driving footage, provides high quality videos, and comes with everything you need from micro SD card, SD card reader, all the charging cable and adapter. Today it is a peace of mind to have a dash cam which can provide necessary video footage in case you ever need and in case of emergency. I consider getting another one to install in my wife's car and would recommend this to my family and friends.

Nice display that you can leave on or turn off while recording. Can read the plate of the car in front of me at a stoplight. Auto-on. Auto-off. (Saves the current clip when you shut off the vehicle and then it will auto-off) Three complete and separate menus. One for recording, one for picture taking and one for playing back clips. It was a short learning curve to figure out the buttons and the menus. I would suggest mounting high because the USB-C cable goes into the top of the camera, not the side. If you do not want to hide your cables in the headliner, I suggest using a cable with a right-angle terminal. This could be used with the cable hanging freely down that way. So far, I have taken only sunny daytime video for testing with the main camera. I will need to get the rear camera installed later and with good cable management by the professionals. I do not have the GPS set up yet for the same reason. Very happy with the features packed into this for the money. If you want to take advantage of the parking mode, you would need to wire this to a constant source of power. Either a battery backup or to the fuse box with a pig tail setup. You can customize so many features to your preferences! Clip length, delay desired between clips 0 ms is the option I prefer, but can choose 100 ms or 500 ms instead. This way the clips are not missing anything between them.
