I love this type of pan because you can use any kind of spatula or spoon and they clean easily. The lids are a poor design, the lid handles get super hot and need some type of cover. Plus, the rim of the lid has a metal edge that is impossible to get under to clean. It does clean in the dishwasher but if you don't have one, it will leave food residue under the rim and not be very sanitary.

We have Hexclad pans and didn’t have the cash right now for the matching pots. These are a nice alternative for now. Love the lids and ease of throwing them in the dishwasher to clean.

This is the set I should have bought the first time. Went through an Amazon Basics set which was not even resistant to using the plastic utensils that came with it. Upgraded to a "blue" nonstick which was better, supposed to be able to use metal, but was only able to use wood and plastic. Metal caused scratches and nonstick material to shed into our food. Both those sets were cheap and thin aluminum. When I inadvertently scorched one of the pots, I knew it was time to upgrade. THIS set is very similar to the HexClad set, and the copy frying pans you get from Henckles at Costco. Truly nonstick, truly able to use metal utensils, including a mixer. Heavy stainless for even heat distribution. If I had bought these instead of the throwaway sets in the first place, I would have saved money.
