We use a more powerful 300W motor with a top speed of 4.97 mph, which is faster than a regular 4.2 mph 3-wheel scooter. The battery capacity is 12 AH and the standard range is at least 10 miles per charge. Climbing angle is up to 8 degrees.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. This was for my Dad who just went through his second amputation. The package came early and we were so excited! We opened the box which showed no damage. After removing the styrofoam we saw damage to a brand new motorized scooter! I still have not heard directly from the seller who seems to be dodging liability. Metro Mobility has a lovely lady, Estrella, working for them and stays in communication with me. She is so very nice and understanding and easy to deal with. However, every time i ask for information, she is unable to give me the information i need e.g. the name and address of the CEO and the name and number and address to this seller. I purchased this M1 2 years ago maybe charged it a total of 15 times. It stopped charging, so removed battery pack and discovered the batteries were swollen and looked like they might explode. Apparently the charger would not go to green and kept charging (overcharging). Contacted the company they said out of warranty that I would have to buy new batteries and charger. Bad product. I would recommend not getting metro scooters. Also if you use oxygen there is no place to put oxygen tanks. Whereas other companies do have seats that oxygen can be used. So beware.
