The springs are very stiff. My wife (115 lds) got no movement. I tried with my 185 lbs and the springs still did not compress. I tore down the rear of the scooter and disconnected the springs then discovered that there are 2 bolts that connect a frame brace that hit the swing arm preventing it from moving. There had been a provision for the front nut to go in a hole but they do not line up. I flipped the rear bolt upside down and ground the holes bigger to get the movement. I had to grind the spring thinner to get a lighter spring. Other issues I have are that the seat does not pivot and the throttle control lever has a large paddel that is awkard to use and pinches your hand. The handle bar area is small and doesn't have room to pull the lever with index finger only. The seat is beautiful but hard. On the good side shipping was quick and it arrived sooner than I expected. It is light and compact. Looks like it used quality materials. OInce I fix the suspension issues and do something with the wheelie wheels (high centers on everything), I beleive we will enjoy it. ... show more
