Yes, you do have to cut the center and use a file to clean it up (simple nail file could be fine) but once it’s off it popped in with such ease it surprised me. Makes my stereo look OEM. I am beyond pleased with how this turned out and will highly recommend anyone who has a double din in their Honda to get it! ... show more

So we ended up going to Best Buy’s and we wanted to get a GPS/back up camera for 2005 Honda Civic that’s getting completely redone inside and out… It was super important to pick out the perfect GPS but upon Best Buy is giving me the price breakdown they said that they stop selling this kit which sucks because on there in the kit only is $3.99 versus us having to buy it somewhere else but Amazon was the fastest and cheapest way to get it.So we ended up going to Best Buy‘s and we wanted to get a GPS/backup camera for 2005 Honda Civic that’s getting completely redone inside and out… It was super important to pick out the perfect GPS but upon Best Buy is giving me the price breakdown they said that they stop selling this kit which sucks because on there in the kit only is $3.99 versus us having to buy it somewhere else but Amazon was the fastest and cheapest way to get it….. I tried three different dash kits. Here is the truth. This is the only one that actually fits properly but it’s also the only one that has a freaking bar in the middle as if anyone is actually going to install a single din in the year 20-F@&King-20. I filed down the cut mark best I can but still looks bad. METRA BETTER GET THEIR ACT RIGHT AND DESIGN ON THATS DOUBLE DIN ONLY. ... show more

Perfect fit, like to the point where you have to bend it a little to get the stereo through the opening but I’d rather have a snug fit then not! Mine had one broken clip on the top but was able to still use it for the most part with the other three clips.

It fits good for aftermarket double dins to be installed. all it does is fill the big gap that will be left opened by the oem radio making it look bad. the image of the product itself will describe the gap's shape and size. Its mainly for aesthetic purpose, i believe it has no other function. honestly speaking, I would not recommend it because of the price but i dont see any other competition that has a lower price but paying this much for this piece of plastic is unreasonable. if only i can make one at home. they know how to control the price since its the only choice we got. this or nothing. I chose this. Dont get me wrong, if its cheaper, I would have given it 5 stars. it fits perfectly, Im happy with its construction, material and how it made my dash look better but the price did most of the disappointments. I could have settled for a cheaper low quality plastic to save some price as long as its this thick and looks the same way. Also, One critism is the bar on the center, i hoped that they would have just removed that and include a glueable or clip-on bar because it left some imperfection when i dremeled and sanded it out. ... show more
