This is a nice toaster. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I have no clue as to longevity or durability (I've had it about a week). Creates nice, evenly toasted slices. There is a tactile and audible click with each stop on the darkness selector. Crumb tray slides out (of the back) for cleaning, no trap door at the bottom. Outer surfaces are stainless steel, which is nice for cleaning but will get hot during use. And the more toast you make, the hotter it will get. After 8-10 slices, it will be HOT! If doing 2-4 slices, it's really not an issue. A great feature is the button you push to only toast one side. Good for bagels but great for hamburger buns. There is also a defrost function which I haven't used. It won't talk to your cell phone, refrigerator, or otherwise get involved in the "internet of things".     • Good toaster for the price
I've been using this toaster for about 3 months now and I'm completely satisfied with it. It heats fast, toasts evenly, and cools down rather quickly after use. The exterior is all metal, so there is no plastic to melt as in other toasters in its price range. The cord is of a sufficient length to reach an outlet and not have a hot side right up against a wall. The crumb tray is rather shallow, but it seldom has much in it, though we check it after every use, and it is completely removable if you need to wipe anything (unplug first). Especially helpful is the extra room at the top of the slot where the button you push down to toast is. That's great if you have a bread with small slices that doesn't extend above the toasting chamber when done and popped up—just push up the button a bit and you can get a grip on the top edge of the toast. The corners are all rounded so there are no seams to catch your fingers if you need to move it or wipe it down (always unplug first). I really like the knob adjustment, I find the #3 setting works well for me. I have not used the CANCEL, BAGEL, or DEFROST settings yet, but am glad to have them. I like the functions, style & simplicity of this touch screen toaster. So far so good it works really well. When I received my package I was very excited to read on the box that it had as 1 of the features “VOICE ALERT”. I couldn’t find how to activate the sound of a VOICE & didn’t see in the manual book where there was a VOICE ALERT. I understood that it had instructions about a beeping sound in the manual book but nothing that said VOICE ALERT. So I reached out to the company & sent pictures as proof. I will be updating my review to share the same pic’s. For some reason it wasn’t allowing me to add more photos while writing this review 🤔. I asked how to activate the VOICE ALERT & she said there is no voice alert, just a “BEEP” sound. I did make a suggestion about maybe changing the word VOICE to BEEP. As this can be misleading & disappointing to customers as I was when I discovered that it had no VOICE ALERT but only a BEEP sound. I also asked about the warranty because there is nothing in the manual or on the box that says it has one. She told me that it has a one year warranty on it. I was happy to hear that. The person that responded back to me seemed to be nice. Her name is BELLA. I wasn’t offered anything for the misleading info but an apology. And that’s fine. But as I told her that I would write a review on Amazon comment, well here it is! My experience with this product was satisfactory overall so far except for those 2 things. But before I close this review I just have 1 more suggestion, I suggest the price not be marked back up to $200.00 for this toaster. As I have just discovered that there are other toaster’s out there that has these functions & with VOICE/WIFI that cost $200.00. They have visual warranty. Also if for any reason customer is dissatisfied money back guaranteed! They have extra features like different attachments that you can use as a bonus that comes with it. In my opinion that’s worth $200.00 and with accurate information about the product. I hope this review helps with Amazon shoppers like me to have a better experience with your shopping. Shop smart🛍️🤗…UPDATE!!! I was able to upload the pictures that I sent to the company as proof that I stated here in my review. See pictures above 👆🏼 UPDATE!!!
