HOMPO Metal Detector Pinpointer Works fairly well for the price although there are better options but you're going to pay more. This one does not even come close to detecting from 3" away as they state in the description on here tho. 1.5" at the VERY most and that's being generous. The unit came and did not work out of the box. Bought new batteries, no luck. Yes, made sure installed right way. Also did not come with a scraper which from instructions it seemed it should come with. Will be returning. Returned and reordered….second one is working.
