This detector is simple to use with just one button—great for kids or beginners. It can find metal up to 4.5 inches deep and works underwater down to 15 meters. Lightweight, accurate, and fun to use at the beach. Even came with a 9V battery and has an LED flashlight. Great value!

This pinpointer has been incredibly useful! I lost my ring in the grass and paired it with a sweeping metal detector to narrow down the search. Once I had a general hit, the pinpointer zeroed in on the exact spot perfectly. It detects items when they’re within about an inch of the tip, which is great for precision. You can choose between audio alerts, vibration alerts, or use both at once. It also comes with both a holster and a bungee cord, making it easy to keep close at hand while you search.

The media could not be loaded. One of the things that this pin pointer helps me with is when Metal Detecting with a traditional metal detector. Often you will see something in the dirt and not know if it's metal or not, so then you have to move it to the side and see if it sets off your detector again and it can be a real hassle. This pin pointer is a nice accessory because you can just pull it out when it's time to get into the dirt and "pinpoint" what your main metal detector has found for you. This thing is also nice for retrieving rings and other jewelry that may have fallen into a stream or water and got mixed up in the sand. Since it's waterproof you can wave it around all you want and it won't damage the device - for at least up to 50 feet. This is where the vibration feature really comes in handy since you won't be able to hear it underwater if you are fully submerged. There is a built in LED light to help with seeing where you are sticking the wand as well. Our kids have fun playing with it as well, mostly just to run around and see what is metal and what is not - making it a good tool to teach kids the differences between metals and plastic that looks like metal. The wand uses a 9 volt battery instead of a rechargeable lithium ion which has its pros and cons. If you are out all day metal detecting then its way easier to bring a few extra batteries with you to ensure it doesn't die on you. Great tool in the tool kit!
