Very cool metal detector, it easily picks up my wife's jewelry and I am excited to take it to the beach and find some cool stuff that has washed up! The detector was extremely easy to setup and understand as someone who has never used one before. It is light weight but seems pretty durable, I can't say anything about the battery life but I haven't had to charge it yet so I would say it is pretty good.

If you're looking to get into the metal detecting hobby this is an easy and cheap way to get into it. The Greenrex is a solid choice as it comes with accessories right out the box. Which means getting started without the need to buy anything extra. What surprised me the most was how accurate it was. For something that seems beginner level detector. It performs to the degree that any high end metal detector would. I noticed it doesn't feel that like a cheap toy either. The build quality holds up through all weather conditions. Considering I've used it for weeks now I haven't noticed any damage to the frame of the metal detector. For the price point this is hard to beat as a starter kit. I picked this up mostly out of curiosity because I've never really used a metal detector before, but it's actually been pretty fun to mess around with. The setup was easier than I expected and the screen is straightforward enough that I didn't have to constantly look things up while using it. I've mainly been taking it to a nearby park and a couple sandy areas just to see what I could find, and it definitely picks things up better than I thought it would. The headphones are a nice addition too since it makes it easier to hear the signals with out outside noise. I also like that it doesn't feel too heavy while walking around with it for a while. The adjustable length helps more than I expected Only thing is there's a little bit of a learning curve figuring out which signals are actually worth digging for, especially at first. Overall though, its been a fun hobby purchase and something I've actually gone out and used multiple times already.
