I loved the Meross product. Then they had to go and add the Apple Home. This feature forces you to use the Apple Home setup. You can eventually add to Meross, but the process to add these devices became much more involved.

I bought this to run my pool pump through Apple HomeKit. I’ve been through two Wemo Smart Plugs (which use thread); and a Wemo Mini (which is WiFi). All three of them were a disaster - my automations worked only half the time; constant “updating” status in Apple Home; and sometimes the Wemo Mini would just turn itself off by itself but the status in Apple Home remained “On.” Then I bought these and my problems are over. Setup was easy (I had to exit setup the first time when adding to Home because it seemed to hang, but then it worked quickly on the second try). Since then it has worked flawlessly. My automations work like clockwork now and I know my pump is running when it’s supposed to and is off when it’s not. I HIGHLY recommend if you use Apple HomeKit. ... show more
