Great lamp. Like the adjustability of the and the fact you can have warm or cool light. I do prefer the warm light but the option to have cool is nice. It also has 3 settings for each light setting. As far as the app and hooking this up to Google home it's just not worth it for my needs.

I'm using this lamp to light my computer workstation. I have great windows in my studio, but in the winter the blahs start creeping in. I'm sure I can keep them at bay with the brightness and color temp settings on this lamp. I won’t return this lamp. For this price, it is a great Apple-friendly product. I’d prefer it was white to go with my whole scheme, but it is slim enough that it doesn’t make for much of an eyesore. The light quality is good enough. Sometimes I’d like it a little brighter, but it is great for focusing on tasks on my desk later in the evening. I’ve had trouble staying connected to the Home app with other Meross products, most notably their led light strips, but this thing has been rock solid since day one, which was a pleasant surprise, especially for the price. But late at night, when I want to quietly turn it off manually, it is difficult to find the right spot to touch to get the light to turn off (and if you want to turn it on in the dark, forget it, the button is not backlight or glow-in-the-dark; at least you can turn it on with your Apple Watch or iPhone. ... show more

This is the most difficult smart lamp or for that matter smart device to setup I've ever encountered, and I used to test smart home devices for a living. It only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, but if you have a modern AP, you need to disable 5GHz to pair. I wanted to use this with Alexa, which it claims is possible, but the setup is tough. I was using an iPhone, needed to setup homekit, download their app, find where the hid the homekit sticker, connect to lamp acting as a WiFi hotspot and then pair the account I setup with their app to my Alexa. Wouldn't recommend, on,y reason I gave it two stars is that it functioned when I finally got it setup. ... show more

Great light, nice and bright and I can direct the light in any direction I choose. A HUGE plus is that it works with HomeKit. That was really the single most important factor that prompted me to buy it. The only slightly negative comment I can offer is that the foam packaging was firmly (did I say FIRMLY?) glued to the protective plastic sleeve the lamp was in and that whole mess was also firmly glued to the inside of the box. Someone at the factory had way too much fun spraying glue around with his/her glue gun. I had to use a knife to carve the lamp out of all of that foam/plastic/glue.
