It’s smooth, quiet, and doesn’t take up a ton of space, which is perfect for home workouts. What I like most is that it’s a full-body workout without feeling like you’re destroying your joints. After a few weeks of using it consistently, I started noticing real changes — especially in my core. I didn’t even buy it specifically for abs, but rowing works your core every stroke, and it shows. I did a lot of reading and research before deciding on this machine and I'm glad I did. I chose this one because it was comparable to the others but was quiet enough to have in a place that wouldn't disturb others. This really is a good beginner rower because it allows you to work on your form and build up core strength. The resistance is really nice for a beginner and offers enough for a solid workout. I am 6'2", 225 lbs and have no issues with it in any way. It doesn't tip or feel cheap in any way and seems like it will last a long time. This really is an excellent rower for someone getting into it for the first time and/or looking for an affordable, quiet option.

I'm a week in and very pleased with the product. It arrived in a fairly small box, with some extreme level of 3D tetris packaging, but it was easy to assemble and included all the necessary tools. So far, the quality seems very good, with no obvious defects. The footprint is pretty unobtrusive and sleek. Operation is very smooth, and the seat glides well. Some people mention that the seat is harder than they would like, but I haven't found it to be uncomfortable. The display is basic but functional. I believe there is advanced metrics in the app, but I haven't explored that in depth yet. Tension is easy to adjust via the control panel, the handle bar, or the app. The unit is also very quiet, and I am able to watch TV at a normal volume level and still exercise comfortably. Maybe it was my oversight, but I was under the assumption that it did not require any power source, but this model does actually have a power adaptor for the lighting and control panel. The only real issue here is that it may impact your placement of the unit to ensure you have access to power. If you're in the market for an inexpensive home rower, I think you will be pleased with this product.

Easy to put together, I just wish the actual height was better, real low to the ground. I am building a quick short platform for the machine, so my knees do not hurt so much lowering to it and getting off of it. The short time I have used it, it seems OK, and I plan on using it much more in the future. The build on it seems basic, so do not expect a water resistance type of feel, or any really tough pulling resistance. UPDATE: I am going to change this rating to a 5 star…mostly due to the tremendous customer service I have received. The machine is doing what I needed it for, thanks for your suggestions and concern for my satisfaction,Kaya, I feel with that kind of service and support, you cannot go wrong! I have attached a photo of the platform I set up to help me get on and off of the machine.

Absolutely love this machine. All Merach equipment is at a great price. Seems very durable and comfortable both. Great for tall people over 6 ft and also for standard size humans. Gives me a workout on higher modes. Definitely has the resistance you need for muscle building. Quietness is pretty good.
