I’ve only ran 3x 500m after building it and it seems pretty solid. The fan enclosure feels a lot cheaper than the concept2 but that’s fine cause the force and air pressure matches it pretty well. I can’t measure if the monitor is correct but it has everything I need. I don’t use the Bluetooth feature but the split and everything else is fine. I saw complaints about the foot strap and honestly it seems fine for my shoe size(10w men). Gonna start practicing for a 6k with this to see how well I do on the water for the summer. In total it’s worth it if you’re not fully competitive. Assembly was simple and very minimal parts. The slide in smooth and very squishy. I do not know how it would feel for long distance but currently it’s pretty nice. The adjustability is pretty much the same as the concept 2 but I have short legs so I don’t know how this would work for a taller individual. The handle also feels like the regular thing on concept 2 as well but I prefer the straight wooden handle from the original machines. ... show more

Excellent rower …. As your research will indicate the heel cups are a bit deeper than the Concept 2, for me this is a bit uncomfortable but I have managed to get over it. Secondly - something I did not hear is the brightness and/or contrast of the monitor - this is a bit weak in my opinion and the reason the review is just 4 stars. It would be better to try and display less information but with a bigger font size and to fix the contrast. ... show more

I purchased the NovaRow R50 Pro Air Rower directly from Merach as they had a program to use the FSA. Not sure if Amazon has the same program. I am glad I made this purchase as the rower is similar to the ones I use at the gym. It was easy to assemble and is solid. After reading the reviews I went with the pro as the standard display was one of the things most complained about. The display on the pro is bright blue and back lit. The system also has Bluetooth which connected to my s22 without issue. The Merach app is basic but functional. It syncs with Google health and syncs with your all apps that are connected to it. The mechanism is smooth and moderately quiet. Be aware the unit is long as I could not stand it up in the bedroom I have it in. I would recommend this product as it will save you 400 dollars over the concept2 that it is modeled after. First impressions are a solid rower for my needs. ... show more
